Well so far this morning, since I remembered to start I have destroyed a PC desk:D
Decluttered some junk in RL ( where does it come from?)
    Washed dishes
    kinda hoovered

I am going to move some stuff around, chuck the desk out, phone the council to come and uplift it, then finish the hoovering

    CONFESSION

Its 11.50 and I have done nothing, zilch, nada. And I DON'T WON'T TO! Its wet miserable raining, all I want to do is snuggle on the settee and watch daytime tv. Somebody please find my get up and go and send it right back, I need it desperately the house is an absolute tip and I really cant be bothered at the mo.

Snap! I decided to put the flying on hold for a little while and tackle a nice job from my list. I made up my mum's HM treats hamper with brown paper and labels for the jars and it looks lovely :jNow safely stored away in the wardrobe in a cool and dark place. Moved a few things around and freed up some more space in the wardrobe and found a computer keyboard to to on ebay or to brother. Boding well for the New Year wardrobe removal!

Checked I had enough baskets and boxes for the hampers and I do - another job completed now

I feel like going back to bed and watching TV. I think I'll have some lunch, wash up then clean the LR and the kitchen.

Tea is risotto with peas and lemon (I am on a store cupboard challenge atm)

I was hoping that Flying would free up time for big jobs I need to do like decorating DD’s room. I can see me having spare time tonight as I try to keep on top of the living room so should I use tonight for this or finish yesterdays list (which also desperately needs doing) or just forget yesterdays? Will the same jobs come around next week? My big appliances for example are disgusting. What would you do?

My advise would be for now just do what you can off of the list for each day and then NO CARRYING OVER that is in my opinion a gold rule for newbies. It will get easier as the weeks go by and the lists are similar each week but not the same ie hoover and mop kitchen floor will always be on but things like clean the oven, clean the WM filter that need doing less often get rotated. Don't get disheartened. If I'm doing a big job (ie decorating or decluttering a big room) then I'll only do my dailies and urgent things like a quick hoover around that week and no lists at all.

Turn that tv off and get up and do something - go on now. That rubbish will rot your brain! Put Radio 5 on instead and get moving :rotfl:

Broke a crown on Saturday, and need a dentist appt. They have nothing on my free days this week, and so I have to ask for cover tomorrow morning. They also suggested that I go to the out of hours at the hospital (only weekends and bank holidays) or get a DIY kit from Boots.:eek:Yes, seriously. I'm so not amused. And for this they will no doubt charge me the best part of £250. I hate dentists.

That is so not funny. What is the country coming to? I hope you can get cover organised ok.

Always forgetting multi quote is only 3 so now a memory test.

Rose - I hate that overwhelmed feeling. Just concentrate on the next HH and see where it takes you. The big picture can be depressing

ok - that is is forgotten all the other things - I'll blame it on my age.

Upstairs I now only have DS2 room to go and then it is all done for the week up there. Downstairs in a completely different story.

Weather is foul here. Oh remembered another thing ....

Pooh - so sorry DH is not good again as I know how great it was for you both when he was feeling better. Do you think the shorter days and dreadful weather has affected him? I know you thought of a lightbox before, did you look at that link for a cheap alternative? xx
