I guess I really should move my butt, I am starving
Then I think I will get started. I was going to go into town to pick up my skirts today, but it is miserable so I think I will stay in with the heating on :D

If you go out you'll be moving, which will help you keep warm, and you'll save money on the heating.

Can I ask a Q? I was hoping that Flying would free up time for big jobs I need to do like decorating DD’s room. I can see me having spare time tonight as I try to keep on top of the living room so should I use tonight for this or finish yesterdays list (which also desperately needs doing) or just forget yesterdays? Will the same jobs come around next week? My big appliances for example are disgusting. What would you do?
The lists change a bit, but are roughly the same and you can substitute if you have things that need doing more urgently. If things are really filthy, don't attempt to get them back to being pristine in one go. If you use a bit of elbow grease and effort each week, eventually they'll be sparkling without too much pain!

Have a hot drink to warm you up and put on some uplifting music :D... and move... get your circulation going and you should feel energised. Slobbing in front of the TV won't help.

I've double-checked and since the ESTA form came in the requirement is for 3 months validity on passports, so I'm OK for this time, but will need to get started on the paperwork for a new passport soon after I get back!

Just try doing something for 10 minutes and then see how you feel then. I sometimes find that doing a little bit of flying helps me to get my get up and go back, IYSWIM!

    Phew!

I'm back from an extended HHC. It took me HH just to sort the DVD cupboard  Then I got slightly distracted by the lovely Kristian on bbc1 ;) I did do the cleaning at the same time tho :D

Anyway, todays list is DONE so a star pretty please Toots

Still got some of the kitchen to do from yesterday including that HHI which I will get around to doing... honest!

I really do need to go to the post office today, but in this weather?? Erm.....
    I need direction to perfection...
  • Well.... I have done 1x 1.5hr studying bash this morning, which is pretty hopeless, really, because I was supposed to start at 9:00am, but got distracted onto other things (like surfing).

Am going to grab some toast and a cuppa, and try to study till 1:30pm; then I'll probably have a stretch and clean the bathroom. It *really* needs it, so I'll do it out of sequence and hope it appears later in the week.

    OK. 8 mins to make toast etc, then 1hr 15mins studying...here I go....back later

Ellas9602 - remember that some of us have been on here quite a while, and the longer you do this, the easier it is. I can do the kitchen list in an hour or just under, as I've already done the deep cleaning and the decluttering and dejunking. When I started my bedroom was a complete junkground, and it took most of the year doing an hour each week to get to the stage where I could redecorate. Looks great now! :D Agree with the stars - if I'm tired, I grit my teeth and do the remaining odd jobs just so I can get that star!

Broke a crown on Saturday, and need a dentist appt. They have nothing on my free days this week, and so I have to ask for cover tomorrow morning. They also suggested that I go to the out of hours at the hospital (only weekends and bank holidays) or get a DIY kit from Boots.:eek:Yes, seriously. I'm so not amused. And for this they will no doubt charge me the best part of £250. I hate dentists.
