  • Tooch, why have you lost confidence? Do you think that the more you do the classes the more confident you will become?

Bit late for the HHC, but off I go....

fedup dont be rushing back to work - stress is a difficult illness to really understand so if the Dr says 2 weeks then take the 2 weeks - as for staying friends with your EX thats fine but you need to become stronger about the split first - IMHO you would be better to have very little contact for a while until you can cope with seeing him and not get upset. just because you are not in touch doesnt mean to say that you wont be 'friends' - give yourself some space honey

I thought the same this weekend and told him I couldn't be friends at the moment. Then I had second thoughts because I can't bear the thought of not speaking to him again or seeing him. Anyway baby steps required plus I won't have seen him now for 20 days upto next weekend. Mood still mega low and am in tears quite often at the moment that just come from nowhere. Don't know what to do about work, had a couple of better days last week and then none since then. Need to have a think about it and then decide.

More positively I bought a box to create a memory box for my dad as suggested by the bereavement counsellor. Then I found a much nicer one that a present came in. I think he would have liked more too and it appealed to me straight away. So into that I put a couple of books and a toy that he won for me years ago at the seaside. I'm going to puta couple of photots in and a couple of cards then it is more or less done.

Pleased I have done this as it is the kind of thing I would have put off before and not gone round to doing. Feel pleased that I have achieved this task as I said I would do it in my own time and I have done :D

Morning everyone - positive vibes needed all round I think judging by the few posts I've read this morning.

Am still feeling a bit blaaargh, meh, tired and fed-up - Bah! Must get myself together, am so tired when I get in from work .....feel like I need a whole week off work to get my house in order. Even if I do manage to get some sort of tidyness happening I feel like it's a losing battle with OH & DS at home all day long (much as I love them both, I do get a bit resentful)

Sorry for unloading on you all, it helps sometimes to get my thoughts down in writing. The menopausal moments don't help much either.

Oooh, colleague has just given me a mini-bar of choc - sounds like Badbury's Baramel - to go with my coffee. mmmmm feeling mildly cheered up.

    Good morning,

MONDAY ALL DONE TOOTS, PLEASE CAN I HAVE A LITTLE STAR?

So unmotivated today, I feel like you Eltee12, fed up, tired and fighting a losing battle against the mess, but hopefully with the flylady list behind me I will get the kick up the backside I need.

so far done nothing but surf the net, not good, so going to get started, even if it is just a HHC, I think I can handle that, knowing I can stop in half an hour.

    Of I go then..
