I would suspect she get £10 -20k per month for the Daily Mail column.

That's outrageous when you think about it......I know a top footballer gets more......so how does one get to write a column every week? I want (I want I want I want) one.

But obviously still in denial by looking at renting your place as it's certainly not "the cheap seats" is it!
Funny you should say that as I thought exactly the same thing...and she doesn't need the space to work from home either....of course I didn't say anything.
They could go into a modest 3 bedder as she doesn't have to worry about school catchment as one is private and the other is in a great state primary.

by being a very good writer like liz jones. she is very clever at raising wrath and keeping people hooked.

she is the most 'confessional' journalist on the block. and she knowingly paints herself in an unfavourable light.

she certainly knows how to get a reaction. and the daily mail must be doing well out of it.

I guess like the writers version of Katie Price? Only room for one or 2 of them.

How much of it do you think is true and how much embellished?

That's true, but I don't like the Mail already, now I like it even less, not all publicity is good publicity, although I'm sure there are plenty of people who buy it and turn straight to this complete bo11ocks.

Honestly, I'm not going to take this seriously anymore, the column has contradicted itself too many times to be truthful, she is so stupid, either as an alter ego who she has backed into a corner and if it is true that people who can't afford to have sent her money (which I really find difficult to believe, although there are endless stupid blind people around) then she should be very very proud of herself for getting people with absolutely nothing to send her money when she has a lifestyle most people will never ever experience or understand, Or as a half mad woman who needs to put on some weight.
The wanton luxury she has had (and still has) is OK and I don't mind someone having that, but I do object when they then turn round and complain about it.

<throws hands up in the air> I'm done with this complete waste of space, no more will I waste my time on this earth by reading this drivel. Join me brothers and sisters and lets boycott Bizzy Bones, lets see her earn lots of money for writing then! and she can see what life without money is really like.
Although obviously a book entitled "living in muddy luxury on minimum wage" would be in the pipeline then.

When Private Eye ran a feature on her self-pitying columns it reported she trousered, for all her "endeavours" around £40K a month.

Nice to see someone so well off is sponging off the needy although I detect more than a hint of irony in some of the comments she reported.
"There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "

I must have missed the ''fat mums'' rant....may have been an article rather than the diary....but I do recall the prawns for the cats and the M+S organic muesli for the rats.

She was very rude about Primark also ....the jist of it was that now she would have to 'suffer' and shop there.

She's ranted about the *underclass* of women who consider child rearing a career both in her You magzine articles and her Daily mail articles. Her take on it was that she spends thousands on a single blouse and waxes every bit of her body and uses £300 a pot cream and can't get a man yet these fat women who wear basic M and S clothes and buy £20 face cream and (shudder) don;t wax their legs every week get a man and have babies. She took a swipe both at the women for having no pride in their appearance (she said better to go without food than to go without Space NK products) and at the men who settled for second best when they could have her.

I did ask my OH if I could spend £300 on a pot of cream and he had to go and have a lie down..I don't even spend £20 on face cream most of the time!

I know its often said but its worth highlighting that women started the ''super primp'' of the last few years for themselves/against each other. women notice way more than men do. Things like waxing: men notice, but seem equally excited by any option taken there in my experience. Things like designer clothes....£300 creams, IME I care more a lot more than dh. when I got fat I was horrified, DH simply was impressed at how big boobs can actually get. I think most men would prefer a reasonably normal woman who makes a bit of an effort, but will still have a giggle and let her guard down....and the degrees of ''normal'' are wider than we often accept.

Right, off to smeer my face with a garden snail now....
