What a load of self-pitying !!!!!!!!. The woman is pathetic. She has earned, according to Private Eye, a salary around £450K for her warblings.

Look as someone like Singlesue on here. Far more deserving of our pity yet a fine woman with far more self-respect than to ask for it.

    Liz Jones is utterly worthless.

Thanks for the sentiments...although I would much prefer not to have pity.

An understanding yes but not pity.

But I think I know where you are coming from so thankyou.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • According to today's little entry, she has 6 siblings, also her mother is still alive (according to the article).

Either her family just can't bear to be around her and haven't invited her, or they have invited her and she's turned them down so she can continue to bleat on about how lonely and isolated she is, in her typical self loathing, poor me style.

N0t necessarily. She has animals and therefore responsibilities that cannot be packaged up and put in a siblings garden for the day while she shares Christmas, and her siblings probably do not ant to decamp to someone else's house with their kids for chistmas....

but thats a choice she made...

Actually you may have a point there. I wouldn't mind her bringing 2 cats for dinner, but maybe not 17 of them!

And the hens and the horses and the 3? dogs....its just not possible..

and I understand families not wanting to decamp to the maiden aunts place...she certainly comes across as litle ''particular'' and could be tetchy with little kids being noisy (potentially alarming animals not used to children)....and her mum has dementia, so the change might not be brilliant for her.

Her mother has advanced dementia, and requires home care daily for dressing and toileting. With typical self-obsession, Liz refuses to visit her, because she is too busy/would find it too distressing to see her mum like that.

I'm not sure what is most worrying.

That this self-obsessed woman writes about her sad pathetic life...

    or

That some people seem to know everything about her sad pathetic life...

Oh no doubt, its us. She gets PAID to write about sad and pathetic, we don't get paid to read it!

    Thanks poppy,

I can't say I had a massive amount of sensitivity to her case, but having read this I'm now convinced she's a wallowing, self-serving b1tch.
