congrats dear prudence xx
cat woman OH is a lorry driver also so completely get the he isnt always around thing. Glad you have your familys support too, I found people knowing made everything much easier. OH works were very good though and tried their best to keep him local as much as possible and he didnt volunteer for any nights out for a while.
Kids are going to stay at grandmas this weekend, so OH and I are gonna spend some much needed alone time together, We are also going to visit grandparents who've not been well and probably couldnt cope with the little uns (despite what they would say).Maybe this weekend will be the weekend.
OH has never seen me POAS, I have mostly done them when he is at work if using FMU. I find the result if +ve comes up reasonably quickly so if OH wanted to see the result come up the same time as you I think he would need to be in the bathroom too otherwise by the time you've pulled your trousers up washed hands and gone downstairs you'll already know. Its lovely he wants to be so involved.0 -

Erm, that was memirrorimage0 wrote: »so have been doing some research for concieving twins and so far have discovered that you need to have a dairy diet (milk cheese) also beef, take your folic acid, eat yams and have twins on the female side of the family.also be over 35 and a little high on the weight side
still going to look up the reflexology bit
anyone have any other suggestions please
I should be laughing then!!!
I'm a twin (sisters), I have two sets of twin cousins (one of which mc'd twins), I'm a veggie and love cheese (I'll give the beef a miss tho is that's alright with you!), I take folic acid, I'm 34 (not quite 35) and am a little (well a lot actually
) on the high weight side! Never had yams - perhaps I should try those!

I was all set for welcoming you to the boards, so it'll have to be ainstead!!
Not a lot going on here, CD3 for me. My testing date would be Xmas day as well (AF due to visit 21/22 Dec), can't see it happening though, took 3 years to get the last bfp).
Must go, I've been trying to catch up on here and have quite a bit to do today (darn work)!!!0 -
My my ladies, you have been busy over the last 24 hours!! I had to go back about 4 pages
Pru - Huge CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP. My that was a short stay but we're v happyWishing you a happy and health pregnancy
LilDevil - I thought it was either you or Fuzz but didn't want to embarrass you if it wasn't. Still stuck in my mind tho
Well not much to report heer - am on CD15. Only dtd once this week on Tues, but it was one to remember. That was the day I got the smiley on my OPK so it was the best day I could have done it really. Went out for dinner last night and was having bad tummy pains. Couldn't decide if it was ov pains or trapped wind.........but more than likely trapped wind as OH moved into the spare room in the middle of the night:eek:
So I am now officially in my 2ww. Boring!!!!! lol
There must be nearly twenty of us on the list, so I think with some magic Christmas dust, at least 7 of us will get our BFPs for Xmas
PMA and baby dust to all x0 -

And good work Mr Pru!
Just goes to show it can happen anytime...hope you'll stay in touch and let us know how you get on.
Do you think it's naughty to have a couple of drinks if you are ttc? I'm testing at the w/e, and am fairly sure it'll be a BFN (but you never know do you??)...sooo...is it ok for me to have a couple at my works pre-xmas do this evening, or is that totally irresponsible??
