CAFC & Katy I knew about(& congratulated!), the rest.....HUGE CONGRATS to you all:j:j I know a couple of you have had 'issues' before so those that have I'm double crossing everything(except the obvious, they're crossed just for now;)) for you:D Just one thing.....can you tell me your secret please?!:)
Hi confuzzled - glad to have you back. Thanks for the congratulations. No secret, but I'm afraid it's all down to you guys (bitzer, becs, LL, MadMac, confuzzled, etc) - I found this forum after about six months of trying unsuccessfully, only to realise from your advice that we'd probably been missing the most crucial time of the month.... (I've got qualifications coming out of my ears, but was never any good at biology!:rotfl:) Didn't realise that having a short cycle moved ov dates forward in the cycle, and as for the cm lessons - they were brilliant!!!
So we're relatively fortunately in that the conception part seems to happen okay - but getting a sticky one has been the hard bit to date. Still on tenterhooks here - no symptoms whatsoever, until yesterday and today when I've been feeling a bit queasy (most unlike me - I have a very "healthy" appetite) but that may be due to eating some rather elderly leftovers out of the fridge.... So I'm not convinced this one is any more likely to work than the previous two. But I'm making myself not think about it, throwing myself into work, and going for lots of PMA....
Big Tuesday hugs for everyone.
Oh and Courgette - wonderful photo - you look beautiful and so happy. I take it the registrar made it in the end....?!?!?!!!0 -
thanks for sharing that merfe, i think that everthing is getting to DH at the moment and he's just a bit snappy, unfortunately it doesn't mix with me being very emotional! I think we need to get away for a couple of days!

This might sound really weird but when I was about 18 I went as a laugh with a mate to see a psychic and they said I'd have only 2 children. I had the first 2 no problems so it seems we are not destined to have the 3 we would like.Hi confuzzled - glad to have you back. Thanks for the congratulations. no news to report from me day 28 i think im still messed up by those stupid tablets !!!!!!0 -
Oh gosh - I hope I haven't offended anyone....? I was just saying that I wasn't very aware of my cycle before, and that seemed to help us, although it could just have been a coincidence. I certainly realise that you guys are way ahead of me on all of that, so that's why I couldn't give any secret tips - I wish I could - believe me.....
Not sure exactly how far gone I am (certainly way beyond the certifiably crazy stage). Seven weeks from the first day of my mc, but think it's closer to 6 wks going by when I think I ov'd. So very very very early days....
I had my fortune told "at" me rather forcibly, by someone asking for money, years ago. She said I'd have five children (ha ha - I'm 38 already, so hardly likely), and that people a long way away were thinking of me (good guess, seeing as I was speaking with a southern accent, and I was living in the north of England at the time). So I go along with don't believe a word of it!0 -
I'm trying not to pay attention to the psychic but so far she seems right grrr. We will try again though once this is all over.
Astro sticky vibes for you xx
jenny i got a bit selfish after my first MC and as far as I'm concerned rightly so, I had for the previous 3 years lived for OH and kids as a SAHM and it gave me a bit of a kick up the bum that i needed to live for me too. Although I think I didnt take enough notice of the way OH felt, we sorted our problems out, my friend who lost her baby at the same time did not and split from her OH. I think when a miscarriage happens it can really affect your relationship and it does change your outlook etc, its just takes a bit of time for both of you to get into sync together again and lots of talking and spending some time doing things together help.0 -
