(((hugs))) You'll feel better soon, Lauralou. xxx
    Updating soon...
  • I've had this, in fact I've had quite substantial pains this month (from occasional stabbing to a loooong dull ache that's unresponsive to paracetamol like I have now:rolleyes:)

I'm not sure if its gas or bowel-related stuff (I have IBS though it doesn't feel like that) or whether I have an ovarian cyst. Basically anything that touches or puts pressure on your peritoneal wall (the membrane that keeps everything in your abdomen) can cause pain. From a bit of constipation/inflamed bowels to an ovarian cyst or even trapped wind!

Keep track of it and if it gets worse go see your GP asap. I ignored my burst appendix as I didn't think it was anything more than gas and my old GP said it was a bladder infection  (don't ask, I wasn't really in a fit state to make those decisions by then!) and I nearly died. It was pretty horrific for my family-not for me as I was off my t*ts on morphine:o! But I don't want anyone to go through that xx

Gosh that must have been scary.Glad that you are ok. Hope your pain goes away.

Can you put me on the test list please for 27 november

Lauralou: you rant away; beats having the mother of all arguments with your OH! Although you could have a lovely time making up!!!!!

KatyJ: keeping absolutely everything crossed for you for Wednesday; will be thinking of you. xxx

Great news re LL; I'd been lurking and seen that she was due to test but hadn't caught up.

I too have rubbish nails; really horribly bitten I'm afraid!

ETA: I think Catwoman is also going for a scan tomorrow to check that everything is ok, so everything crossed for her too.xx
  • Congrats LL :j:j:j:j We all should get our BFP before Xmas  (obviously is lemonade!)

I am having a cr*p time too Lauralou, I was pushed over by some angry man at the train station this morning - I was quite glad in a way I wasn't pg as would be so worried. Anyway I'm sure I was much more emotional following on from the m/c than I would normally be - maybe thats what is happening too. I even left my gym bag on the train coming home - doh, sure it is delayed emotional response with the incident in the morning. Hope you and I feel better soon :D

  • Katyj - so sorry to hear. I have nothing to add that the others haven't already said. Take care of yourself hon xxx

Courgette - you sound exactly like the rational part of my brain. I know logically that its not happening this month, but there's this little voice in the back going "but you could be..." AF is due at the end of this week and I've had a few AF type pains today, so waiting to get it over with to try again next month.

And thanks everyone else for being so welcoming. I promise that I'll try to wait my turn and let the baby fairy come to you guys first. You all deserve it.

Oh, and will someone please take these pringles off me? I've eaten half a tube in 5 minutes!!!

Hugs to everyone that needs them and congrats to those that have got BFPs!!! I am sitting here calculating and recalculating the days that I will have to wait until I can test. What do you all do to wile away the hours? During the day I am busy and don't have time to think about it (unless I am surrounded by babies) but in the evenings it plays over in my mind. How do you stop TTC taking over your life?
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!
  • Huge congratulations to LL.
    Fingers crossed for you CatwOman.
Rik - been thinking about you - have you had any results from the tests you were going to have done yet?
Hugs for everyone else that needs them....
