:hello:
Oh my goodness, I can't believe I've not been in the forums for three weeks, I've got sooo much to catch up on, a brand spanking new thread!!! I think its going to take me a few hours to read through.
Work has been mega busy, have been working late and a little at the weekends and then spending my free time decorating my office at home and getting on with making my xmas cards - there are just not enough hours in the day!!
Its been a worrying time for me aswell as my best friend gave birth to her twins just over a week ago - she was just 26 weeks pregnant. They are critical hand have all sorts of health problems but thankfully that are still fighting, poor little things. my friend is an absolute wreck though, understandably, and I feel so helpless.
well not much else to report from me, CD2 and still waiting on my test results, I'm not being very patient.....
I'll be back once I've caught up on everyone's news
masssive hugs to you all xxxx0 -
Oh Catwoman, we must have cross-posted. I'm so incredibly sorry for you, sending you lots of love xxxx0

I really hope it's not bad news catwoman I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Thanks for your messages of support from both posters and the lurkers! You are really a lovely lot and I appreciate your virtual friendship so much.
My bleeding's got heavier and today I was leading a group at an event and I stood up and felt loads of blood flooding out. (sorry tmi) I have the scan tomorrow but really I just want the medical advice to see what I do next. I am off work tomorrow anyway and have told them not to contact me so can take time to be emotional etc. Will update on what happens but I just know it's not possible that my baby is still alive. I am OK though and keeping quite philosophical about it all.
On another note, are there any keen readers on here? I read a (fiction) book (the whole book last night) called One Life by Rebecca Frayn about a couple who TTC for a few years and they have a form of IVF and it's really touching and true like the arguments you have when you're feeling unreasonable about it all! If anyone would like to read it next pm me with your details and I'll post it on. If a few want to read it we could have a 'pass it on' list!
Will pop back on when I know more. Congrats to LL for her fab news. Really great. I wonder who will be next?

catwoman - I'm so so sorry, words can't express. Been thinking about you today. I have everything crossed that it's just too early to see anything properly.

Hello all
Just found this thread by accident whilst looking for ways to save to afford a baby in the first place and wondered if anyone could advise me on something?
Got married 15 Aug 09 and came off the pill that week. Have had 3 AF's so far and started using Clearblue ov sticks from month 2. Then I bought a CBFM and am on cycle 2 now. However, I have hit Peak today which is day 15 and so loads of BD to come tonight (when hubby finally gets his bum home!) but just worried as to why I can't seem to get a high and go from low straight to the peak? i feel as though I am missing out on a few good days when I could conceive.
Has anyone else had this issue with CBFM?
Also, just read a few pages of this thread and just wanted to say to Jenny and Catwoman, thinking of you and wishing you both the very best.I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.

Oh Cat I'm so sorry. I really am. I don't know how far it goes online but I shed a tear for you when I read that. I hope you can find the strength to carry on and get through this. You too katy.
Nice to see you back rik
Think I've just started a small war in my office at work. I however stand by my sentiment that I am not at people's beck-and-call of they happen to lock themselves out because they're too thick to think of taking their key with them and I am allowed a life outside of work!! GRRRRRR!!!Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0
