  • I tried false nails once for a ball (I bite mine really quite badly) and it made me _pale_ when one flicked off and into my wine - never again! I've got such stumpy hands and I'm always up to my elbows in something, falsies wouldn't stay and real ones would just break

I'm all emotional at the mo too courgette - this has been a really rough month for me, mentally and physically, not just ttc but work's been a nightmare. I really need a break but not sure the best and most MSE way to go about it..

  • Sorry AF got you confuzzled and is painful too, hopefully you'll feel better soon.

Lauarlou probably tested too early, hopefully your dream will come true ;)

I will be joining you ladies in a glass of wine as is cd10 for me and not ov'ed yet, not sure when that will happen but have planned a long wkd with me and DH next wkd when I think could be happening (so lots of bding!).

    Enjoy you weekend ladies :beer::beer:

Huge hugs Confuzzled Christmas is our time (at least that's what I keep telling myself lol)

Well, CD9 for me and we need to BD tonight :j (and tomorrow and the next day and.....you get the picture lol) Just glad my sex drive has reappeared. Isn't mother nature a wonderful thing? (sometimes)

It's also been a full week since a cigarette passed my lips and i'm really proud of myself. Thursday was a really tough day but yesterday and today have been a doddle. I really think i'm going to do it this time. Yayyy me lol.

I had a bit (massive understatement) of a drink last night and have been feeling rough as all day today :o I was celebrating to have my best friend back. She's either been PG or breastfeeding for the last 3 years, and we haven't had a good session together in all that time  She's finally got little one off the boob (not so little, he's 10 months!) so we have a small window where she's not PG or breastfeeding and obviously i'm not PG (yet) to have a drink like the old days. You watch us crack it this month and we'll only have had the one session lol.

Hugs to all who need them, i'm going to finish dying on the sofa and then go to bed.

I am really sorry AF arrived for you confuzzled, I was keeping my fingers crossed that it wouldn't for you. I had one month I was very late, had few supposed side effects, even felt like I was preg! Me and OH were v excited, went to do a test and AF arrived. I had a good cry after, OH thort i had lost the plot. Now I am not allowing myself to get excited about AF being late, as at the mo its every 2 weeks anyway (now I remember why I originally started going on the pill and the blinding pain) I get days I just feel cr#p as I feel like I am going through all this for nothing :(
But all our days will come I am sure, hugs to all of you who need them xx
  • Morning all :hello: Hope all you ladies who had a drinkypoo last night are not suffering for it today!

Am in work for what seems like the millionth sunday this year , though my boss was kind enough to do my saturday for me yesterday

So in true MSE style OH and I went to a "Steampunk" exhibition at a museum in town, then had a 2 course lunch for £11 courtesy of Martin's 50% off Brasserie Gerard :money:, then I bought a pair of new boots from Clarks (not so MSE at £120, but I love them and my old boots have a hole in the sole and make me feel like a hobo/will give me trenchfoot this winter:o)

Then I got the best bargain *ever* a goretex, top of the range O'Neill snowboard jacket (its got all the little features a great jacket should have), half price in blacks - £20 :D:eek::D I kid you not. £20 for a goretex performance shell jacket. The gods of :money: smiled on me yesterday afternoon I tell thee.. ;)

After all that a few hours at work on sunday seem less bad, n'est pas?!

Big love and babydust to all of you ladies, your strength through adversity amazes me everyday. Without this thread and the unending support and banter of you lot, I'd be rocking in a room in the dark by now I swear. :T

I only wish I could wave a magic wand and make this the month for all of you xx

I've had this, in fact I've had quite substantial pains this month (from occasional stabbing to a loooong dull ache that's unresponsive to paracetamol like I have now:rolleyes:)

I'm not sure if its gas or bowel-related stuff (I have IBS though it doesn't feel like that) or whether I have an ovarian cyst. Basically anything that touches or puts pressure on your peritoneal wall (the membrane that keeps everything in your abdomen) can cause pain. From a bit of constipation/inflamed bowels to an ovarian cyst or even trapped wind!

Keep track of it and if it gets worse go see your GP asap. I ignored my burst appendix as I didn't think it was anything more than gas and my old GP said it was a bladder infection  (don't ask, I wasn't really in a fit state to make those decisions by then!) and I nearly died. It was pretty horrific for my family-not for me as I was off my t*ts on morphine:o! But I don't want anyone to go through that xx

  • Hi guys. Hope you don't mind me joining in. I've been lurking for ages and want to say thanks for all the helpful information. You all seem really nice and supportive.

Myself and OH are in our early 30s, and have decided to BD without contraception for now, so I've just come off the pill and am waiting for my body to get back to normal (whatever that is). I have PCOS so am not convinced that getting pg is going to be easy, although I know it is possible because I had a very early mc a few years ago. More annoyingly is that my sisters all seem to be super fertile and so there's not a day goes by without someone being pregnant or having a new baby, which doesn't make things easy. I find myself lying and saying I don't want kids cause I can't bear the pity if being the barren auntie.

Anyway, now I've bored you all rigid, I just wanted to delurk and wish everyone luck for this month.
