thanks for the welcomes everyone I feel much better now for delurking! Tigtag gbs can come and go hun I was swapped on the day I had a sweep with my daugther bit they didn't come back in time before she was born and it was neagtive but my hospital did the right thing and gave dd the antibiotics course anyway while the results came through. What I would do is stress the gbs to your midwife at the booking in app...**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0

argh sorry I'm posting on my phone and it will only let me type so much! To add to that I was going to say that most midwifes are pretty clued up on the effects of undiagnoised gbs and I think they can swap u as early as 28 weeks....its the first thing I'm going to push for if I'm lucky enough again x**"Yesterday is gone. I actually think that its a disgrace that this isnt tested for as rountine. Did they swab you because of your history?
Thanks again - I am worried about this along with other high risk factors in a next pregnancy!!

Hi Everyone,
Been a bit quiet lately as I went to rock in the corner by myself.I have to admit I took the hump a bit about the post that was meant in a lighthearted way to say 'give the oldies a chance' and I was feeling sensitive and sad etc. as we've been ttc for over a year now, with two MC to show for it and I realised that I was just touchpaper waiting to be lit by any random spark tbh so thought I best take time out to regroup.
Tinks post made me realise that there are people who need support and I can see how much everyone cares and is there to support her when she's ready to talk. So I am back with an olive branch to offer.
Katy, your post brought a tear to my eye! I'm glad you've come back. I shouldn't even really be here by rights as I'm not actively ttc and probably won't be for a whilebut I've hardly told anyone about my most recent m/c, only work and my oldest friend know, so this is the only place I can talk about it openly and I'm nosey and want to find out what happens to you all.
Oh TAN, I completely missed a month once too, I'm always really regular and was convinced I was pregnant despite many bfns. I went to the docs who sent me for blood tests, they came back with no answers and lo & behold, about a week later AF showed up. Actually thinking back,I think that's what made us decide to really seriously TTC.0 -
I totally agree with you tt every woman should be offered the test for it as its so easy to treat but can be devestating if undetected. Yes I was only swabbed because of my history and I will be stamping my feet to get tested earlier if I do fall pregnant again!

Ali hun you have as much right as anyone to be here... you've had an equally rubbish ride and can have as much 'airtime' as you need.
I'm amazed by the strength of everyone who posts on this thread. My emotions are rollercoaster just lately and it's horrible trying to act nice and normal to everyone in RL when sometimes, you just don't feel like it.
Has anyone got any good news to report? Not necessarily ttc related, anything will do. I'll start: I just got £50 from DooYoo today (another 50,000 points clocked up). Into the baby fund they go (for when we need it)! Yay! I'm on the same name over there if anyone wants to be in my circle of friendsI will rate all your reviews nicely...

I had to laugh at that Sun article about the i-phone baby. My OH has been using it for nine months to chart me and I'm still bean-less. For those of you rushing out to buy a new phone, the app is no different to FF or other online charting. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
