Lol I've got that app ;) let's see how things go! I've only tracked one AF on it so far but have DTD on every day it's told me to!

Does anyone else feel like 'yes, that's IT, this is the one, I can practically FEEL my egg being fertilised!' after BDing? :D

Just dropping in to say i feel dead on my feet. Went and got the last bits of shopping i needed to last the month. Have stood in kitchen and prep'd 2 kg of carrots, parsnips, swede and god knows what other veg it felt like a production line. Kids now in kitchen to weigh out their ingredients for school cookery lessons- ds doing potato and bacon bake, dd finally getting round to d oing her banana and oat muffins that had been cancelled last week due to an exam.

Have told hubby no room for headaches as tonight i want his body - so romantic in this household lol.

Penny - what you are describing is exactly what i had last week, are you getting any cramps with it? Hopefully this will be the last push to get everything else out and your bleed will stop as abrubtly as mine did in a matter of days.

Welcome to the mad house RETRO. Hope your stay here is not a long one.

Notmyusualname - the cheapy ones i got from HB (3 for a quid) say you are to PIAP then dip the stick in to get a reading not poas. They have worked fine for me this past week i still got +ve last sunday before bigger bleed and yest finally got a definite -ve.

For everyone else i hope you are all ok if not come and grab a handful of my PMA :)

Tinkwings, I'm so very sorry, please make sure you and OH look after each other and give yourselves time to grieve. We will be here for you when you feel ready to try again xxx.

Penny, sorry about the +ive test, must be awful.

 to retro, don't worry about rambling, we are all used to it here!

I read something interesting earlier about the implantation dip. I don't know if some of you realised already, but it isn't actually caused by implantation. It's just a dip that sometimes occurs midway through the luteal phase, around implantation time, so gets called the implantation dip! And apparently it also happens for people who aren't pregnant. So it sounds like its a waste of time looking for it as it means nothing at all ?!!? Now I really need that confused face!!! This will have to do .

There's more info here and here.

Well, I had my blood test today to check progesterone levels (I'm CD22). Will be interesting to here the results as my temp has been up and down (admittedly I've only taken it about 5 times and at very different times so what can I expect!).

It was a bit scary as it was a student doctor who did it for me and she seemed slightly nervous (but doing a pretty good job of hiding it). Worse bit was when she was half way through and said "I just heard something rip". After a short pause i think she realised what she'd said and clarified that she meant in her dress as she was bending over to reach me :rotfl:.

I was also a bit confused by the nurse then asking if I had an appointment for tomorrow. Luckily the student doc realised that she was getting confused about the CD2 blood test that I need to go for.
Proud to be a moneysaver!
