So sorry to hear your news jacobsmum.

CD19 & 7DPO today & last night I had the sudden urge to POAS. Helped that I don't have one in the house. Spoke to OH and we've decided to test next Tuesday 26th, so please put me on list for then.

I know I'm probably setting myself up for a fall, but I'll just say to myself that if it is a BFN then I'll retest if AF is late. I'm also going to buy a 2 pack for MSEness!

What test is best to use 4/5 days early? I've heard First Response, but been reading reviews & they are not all positive. Clearblue?

I have just stumbled upon this by accident as I am usually on the comping site.

Is this general for chat for all people trying to conceive/ or trying to conceive naturally?

General ttc although there are women on the ttc 12months+ who know more about IVF/Clomid etc than we do here:) Hth and welcome:D x and just so you know..there no such thing as TMI on either of the TTC threads;):D

Nothing to report this end, AF is being evil and giving me lovely cramps every now & then right across my stomach, they're so bad I'm having to breath through them:eek: But on the bright side, flow isn't very heavy so I'm seeing that as a bonus:rolleyes::rotfl:

Seems at though my PMA made a hasty retreat when it saw Aunt Flo coming....very rude of it if you ask me!:)

I'm going to quieten down for a while, I'm coming up to my next 'milestone' and its depressing me so instead of inflicting you with my miserableness I'll just retreat into a corner and console myself with chocolate & biscuits:o:)

    Sticky babydust all round xxxxxxx

Hi its for all people who are trying to conceive. Welcome to this thread.

I am feeling a bit fed up and disappointed. Just got back from the doctors as i had a appointment with the nurse and doctor. I went to see the nurse for my rubella booster. One of the questions i got asked before she was going to do it was, could i be pregnant. I said that i have been trying for a baby and there is a chance. So not been able to have the booster done because you have to wait three months before trying to concieve after having the booster as it could damage the babys development.

I said i did not understand why i had not been told this before. The nurse went to speak to the doctor about it and said to see if my AF comes and if it doesn't then ive to go and get put back on the pill for three months and have the booster. If i am pregnant i need to try and not go near anyone who had measles, mumps and something else.

I went in to see the doctor and she asked me how i was, i told her i was fed up to do with booster. She couldn't understand why i had not been told about getting blood test for rubella when i started trying for a baby as normally they do it when you are still on the pill. I told them at the doctors last july that i was trying and it wasn't till i saw this different doctor who is nice that she mentioned getting checked to see if i was immune to rubella. Normally you are immune for life but can happen where it stops. I had the vacination when i was a child. I dont't want to put an unborn baby at risk so am better off if im not pregnant to have the booster. Its just disappointing that we have been trying all this time for us to have to put it on hold and then start all over again.

The doctor has changed my tablets back to the one i was taking before, so hopefully soon i will be feeling back to my normal self.

Thanks for the info confuzzled and monesavyer.

I have only been trying for 3 years so perhaps I should be moving onto the other thread!. I have had one failed IVF treatment and waiting to be called up for next one any month now. Luckily I have been told I have time on my side as only being 32 but it is depressing when you see all your friends with babies.

Not sure on all the terminology whats TMI? Took me weeks to work out what AF meant.
