Maddie - the house i am in atm has nowhere for car to go outside house. At the front its 200 yards to the end of the walk and then its a main road through the estate which you park on, had to stop parking there as was constantly picking wing mirrors up in the mornings. At the back of the house is a block of council run garages which we now rent two of, but you get divs who visit the adjacent houses parking infront of the gargae or blocking you in and its a nightmare. If i had done my research properly i dont think i would of had this house (housing association though so not as bad as buying it) but the walk way is also known as a red route - the quick way all the drunks walk home on a weekend and as my daughter has the front bedroom is woken a lot by the rowdies who on occassion have pinched my hanging baskets.

  • Hi all,

    Welcome any new faces.

Hugs for anyone who AF caught.

Wow there is a lot to catch up on.

Nothing much going on with me just waiting patiently to test. Am resisting the big urge to test.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Take care

There was me settling down on the sofa but I was thinking about jacobsmum and those OPK's:o:rotfl:

Jacobsmum I know you've already mentioned that you know a positive on one will show up if PG but you had AF... but what was AF like?? Was it different/lighter?? If you get another postive I think you should do a HPT to check. I had bleeds which I though was AF (but obviously wasn't;)) Oh and if you pee in a pot... do you use the same one?? If you do it might still have traces in of previous wee:confused:

Hope I make sense!! (If not... I have a good reason;))

Phew... I can stop thinking about Jacobsmum now and go to sleep:o:D

Thanks a lot for the advice stef! My sis said she would be knocking on neighbours doors to say hello and see what they are like, I think this is something we'd do before buying and I'd make sure I asked about parking if it was for this house.

I quite like the idea of having grass outside your house instead of a road though - its a bit like now when all the roads are just snow lol! My current and previous house are both on cul de sacs - i love the quietness.
Proud to be a moneysaver!

Maddie - make sure you ask a few neighbours in the street not just ones either side of the house. One of my neighbours is lovely , an elderly lady who is just like a granny next door, she looks after cats when we go away and we make sure in weather like this she is ok and not struggling for food etc and my boys do her garden in the summer. The other side tho was a right old bag when i moved in, she started demanding i get up the ladder to paint the fascia and soffit boards plus all my windows etc as it was the state of my home preventing hers selling cheeky get. When she sold it, it was to a couple even older than her and they are noisier than a housefull of teenagers and just as rude.
