I've resorted to watching the darts (which are taking place about three miles down the road from us) DH has been at work today and has now gone to the pub with his mate so am still home alone  have got 4 loads of washing done so far though.............tumble drier has been on constantly! I know it's not very MSE but needs must.....
I'm just waiting for the snow to start coming down again - the sky is looking so heavy it's ridiculous - I could really do without it as well cos the roads are hairy enough round here let alone with fresh snow on top. I managed to get into London for work yesterday and would rather not have to take any more time at home, I'll be battling into town again on Monday
Hows it looking by everyone else?
ETA - Penny hon, thinking of you sweetie xxx

It's started snowing again here.
DS had given up his paper round (I'm secretly happy:o) He phoned to say he fell over and hurt is back this morning on the ice so I told him to take papers back to shop and come home.
Oh and I've just been for a wee. Wee was not used for any other purpose.BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Just spat my tea out over the laptopI did have to think for a minute as well - what's she planning on doing with it, making a brew?!! :rotfl:
Poor DS - don't blame you at all for telling him to come home, it's just too nasty out there especially as it's still so blinkin cold everything is freezing and making it even worse
We're walking over to friends for dinner, drinkies and the Wii tonight, I don't mind falling over on the way provided I don't break the bottles of wine while I do it0 -
Smartie can't find your list to "put myself on it" so I'll just say it out loud so everyone knows-I want a brandy and coke waiting for me when I get home with bub;)Yes, I want a drink already. And its tradition. When I had ds my dad brought me one of those buddy bottles in the hospital...he'd emptied it out a bit and topped it up with brandy...(and before you yell, I didn't breastfeed-probably wont this time either)
Penny and Laura I am so sorry to hear your news. I suppose it doesnt matter that I've been there...I didnt know what I wanted anyone to say to me then and I still dont know what to say to you now.
And my journey we started trying for #2 when DS just turned two (so round june, 2008). I had had one traumatic m/c at 5 months before him and an extra surgery after delivering him by c-section so I had scarring on my uterus from all this. We tried "conventionally" until I fell in February of 2009. I m/c'd on mothering sunday at around 7 weeks. The EPU at our local refused to give me a scan, they did pg tests as standard when you went in and mine was negative. I was told I "either had a spontaneous m/c which meant it was complete or I "just wasn't pregnant to start and was having a normal period". I bled for about 15 days and then had nothing after that. When I followed up with my gp he said I should come back if my period stayed away for 60 days. I went back on day 60 with severe pains in my left side and he sent me to A&E to check for ectopic pregnancy. A&E did blood tests, and sent me on my way-so I laid a complaint with the PCT against the hospital and gp. My complaint was responded to at day 70 and I was referred to the gynae department with high priority, I started bleeding the morning I was due to see the consultant so I phoned, wondering if I should cancel. I was told to come in, and if I had passed any clots, to bring my towels with so he could see.He was appalled and scanned me himself, my m/c had not been complete and my body was FINALLY shedding. He sent me the following month for blood tests to check various different hormones. The following month he put me on Clomid. I had two cycles of that, and in the second cycle, during a scan to track my follicles, he said he saw what he thought was scarring on my tubes and sent me for an HSG. A different kind of x-ray that involves filling your tubes and uterus with dye. It determines if there are blockages which need to be addressed with surgery. I did have a blockage, but thankfully it was so small that the dye pushing through was enough to clear it.The next cycle I went back on the clomid and started agnus castus on cd1 (the research I did said not to mix the two, but my consultant was okay with the extra help the agnus castus would provide) At DPO1 I stopped taking the agnus castus and replaced it with a B-50 complex tablet...and there it was....and Im still terrified about us "making it". I know it is a long story, Ive tried to condense it as much as possible without losing the bits that could have made it less painful.0 -
