Hi Rik - Can you please tell me how much you paid for your blood tests I am looking into getting them done and wondered roughly what they cost. Though to be honest whatever they cost I am having them done ..Would be nice if you got your BPF before you tried your treatment, good luck.

Dont want to ask horrible things on a Saturday afternoon, but ladies I would really appreciate you tell me how long you bled for with your mc. I would be very grateful and hate to have to ask things that may be a horrible memory.

    Thank you

penny sorry just noticed your question about bleeding well... with my first mc i bleed for a week, just like a normal period, the 2nd i bleed for 13 days but for the first 5 days it was brown discharge. Now with this one, ive only had bleeding for 4/5days TMI its now brown blood?which i dont know what that means!

rik-i know i think we missed all the snow, my school closed early on weds but that was my day off anyway!

    ali hope you are ok!:D

Laura I think that's a great idea, I had thought about it but didn't know whether it might be insensitive. I do think that a lot of members would benefit from seeing there are others in their situation. I've amended yours, Riks and my details on front page so if anyone else would like me to add anything on to theirs let me know.
Welcome back Rik, well done fr coming back and giving it another go whilst waiting for further tests. It is incredibly brave of you and I really hope it works out for you. The rewards for you if it does are obviously immeasurable. As I have said before my friend's sister had 5 m/c's before her son all unexplained so whilst Dr's may be able to investigate after 3 there simply isn't always an answer.

rik I'm not too far from Maidstone and it is a nightmare here with the snow. It hasnt stopped today and OH has been trying to get home (normally 20 min journey) for over an hour and is only half way. I dont think I'm going to work tomorrow eek.

Erm penny I think everyone is different. My first Mc I bleed for about 3 weeks altogether. This last time I bleed for 1 week had a scan and saw heartbeat, continued to bleed, had another scan after another 1 week where there was no heartbeat. I waited for it to happen naturally and it was another week before the actual MC happened and I think I bleed for about 2 weeks afterwards.

    Hi Penny,

Mine was a natural mc and i bleed for 8 days approx, i was just over 6 weeks so i am not sure if that has any difference in the length of time you bleed.

Should I just put down from now...or when we originally started ttc? I'm not sure. I do think the first page update is an excellent idea though. It's quite comforting to know your not alone. Plus it's difficult to remember who has experienced what etc.

Told DH about the mis-calculation about ov and he's all excited now. I'm trying to temper his excitement though by being really doom and glum about it because I don't want him to get too excited. Bless him.

so would be like since 06/09(w/3month break) that make sense??

If DH is getting excited too then I think it may be time for you to ttc properly:):) Its obviously something you both want....LOTS:D
