I've also been to the hospital today for another scan just to check that everything is clear since the MC. There is a small amount of tissue remaining so am just waiting for nature to take over and expel everything. The good news is that there is no sign of an infection but I've been prescribed antibiotics anyway as a precauation. I have to ring them again in two weeks time but hopefully by then it should be all sorted.

On other good news me and OH decided to book a winter holiday as we feel that we darn well deserve it! Off to switzerland at the end of January for a week in a winter snowy wonderland; I can't wait and hopefully it means that January won't be as unbearable as usual!

It could well be stress...or have you been unwell, taken any new medication etc. Lots of things could be the reason, our bodies are quite funny little things. Have you been late before? Are you on the pill or anything?

teabythesea: a bit of a stupid question but...is there a real chance you could actually be pregnant???? As you may have gathered it's not actually that easy particularly so if you are actively trying to avoid it!

the best thing to do is test again in another week if your period still hasn't turned up.

Ohhh TK Max; never thought of them! That's me sorted for tomorrow then!
