I never had a blood test. I think they'd want you to wait another week I think, but don't take my word for it.

When I got pregnant last time, my cm was dry.

moneysaver... remember that cycles can vary from month to month for whatever reason. I've had 30 day cycles and 38ish day cycles since coming off pill. I would wait a few more days then test again ;)

Oh and hi everyone! :) 2WW for me wahey!!!:j:rolleyes:

You don't even take him seriously,

  • What a day !!

Rang up for my hcg level today and it had only increased by 30!!! So they told me to come straight in.

Consultant then told me I had either a eptopic pregnancy or it was floating around somewhere but in wrong place. I was very upset.

I was sent of for a scan, lovely lady done the scan and instantly found the sac in my womb !! right size and everything for my stage of pregnancy but too young for a heartbear, but defintely not eptopic or in wrong place.

Went back to see consultant who said with my slow hcg levels it is not a viable pregnancy and I will miscarry soon !!

I am booked on for another scan in 10 days..they are not monitoring my hcg levels now.

So I feel its all down to nature, my baby is in the right place I just pray he/she wants to stay there.

    Penny
    xx
  • Penny35; I've not had my HCG levels reported so really can't comment upon that but at least you have some hope now that it's not an ectopic pregnancy. Let's hope the next 10 days include a growth spurt for you. I'm keeping everything crossed her for you; I know how hard the waiting is unfortunately.

I've also been to the hospital today for another scan just to check that everything is clear since the MC. There is a small amount of tissue remaining so am just waiting for nature to take over and expel everything. The good news is that there is no sign of an infection but I've been prescribed antibiotics anyway as a precauation. I have to ring them again in two weeks time but hopefully by then it should be all sorted.

On other good news me and OH decided to book a winter holiday as we feel that we darn well deserve it! Off to switzerland at the end of January for a week in a winter snowy wonderland; I can't wait and hopefully it means that January won't be as unbearable as usual!
