Hi everyone. I think that im going to get my af on sunday. Did a test today and it was a bfn.

Dinky-dragon - I've been using ebay cheapies, you need to pee in a pot, wait 1/2 hr for it to cool then test. So a bit of a faf. Also with OV they recommend you test in the afternoon (best time around 2.30 pm) for LH surge.

Courgette - you have my full support for the new board and I'm sorry MrsTine gave you a ticking off. Totally agree on special support needed from BFP to 12 weeks. I only hope I get to graduate to it and not the TTC12+

I've been naughty and lurking loads and loads but had a good excuse to come out of hiding today to say

Happy Birthday Fuzz!!!

Me and OH weren't meant to BD this month according to the docs as I was on antibiotics for a UTI. However, got the all clear from the test i did just before my last round of pills so stopped taking them...and the leaflet and t'internet said nothing about them being bad when pg..so we were naughty and DTD anyway. We've only managed twice though still, you only need one.

Smartie - I've been recommended cranberry tablets - apparently they contain loads more actual cranberryness than the drinks if that makes sense.

Congrats to all with BFPs along with sticky vibes. Polkadot - I remember you from when I started posting, were you the person from South Africa? Thanks for letting us know you got your BFP, it is lovely to hear :T.

And on the random crying...I was in tears and feeling really low last night as I was worried that OH has bought me expensive jewelery for Christmas (yes I'm mad). I usually say I don't want anything as I'm so picky and hard to buy for and never want anything - think I have a phobia of presents .

Firstly happy birthday Confuzzled!! 21 again??
(if i can hurry up and write this then i may be able to post before we start a new day!)

Please can my tseting dae be moved slightly as my af is due 18th but i want to be late before i test so can i be moved to 21st jan(if i am late i will try my hardest to hold out).

This month wasted 3 tests, was sure something was going on so tested early and then day before af due, it came, and i was soo annoyed with myself. It was so unlikely that i had conceived but as i had a mc i was sure i was extra fertile but to be honest me and OH did not bd on the right days, so no real chance.

Just thought Confuzzled not sure if i ever said but many thanks for doing the testing/bfp list, its so helpful to know which ladies will be testing and who has had good news or needs hugs!

I have been scanning and reading but have not had much to add so have been in the background.

Congrats on the BFP and hugs to all who are not feeling so great.

Whats been happening with me? Well i am free from work until 4th Jan so that makes me happy. Since don't ovulate until 1st week in Jan so i'm at that boring bit before ovulation but after period. I suppose the only good thing is i will be able to have a drink and indulge a bit over christmas.

Am hoping to lose some pounds while ttc so that will prob start on 27th. I know most people wait until jan but i want a head start!

I want to make sure i am healthy for the next time i get pregnant. (Had a mc in early nov)

Just had a random thought does anyone want a baby due around a certain time/season. I think as i would have been due in summer if my pregnancy had continued that i will always feel like i should have a summer baby. Now the reality is i'm not fussed when any baby i go on to have is born as long as they are happy and healthy, but it just crept into my mind that i should have a
summer baby.

Sorry for the ramble but no one (in the real world) know that we are trying to concieve i kinda see this as my outlet.

My DH is the best. He secretly caught the train and came home a day early! I'm so surprised!! But was slightly horrified as I realise the house is a mess and he'll see it!!!! :rotfl: He kept saying...I'm not here for the house stupid!

Twinklie; hurrah for your lovely DH surprising you; hope you're feeling a bit better now.

Twice as nice; I too think about the 'right' time of year. If I hadn't of M/C mine would have been due in July and I quite liked the idea of a summer baby too. From a MSE point of view it means that they would have gone to school earlier thus saving on nursery fees etc. However, now I'll take whatever is on offer!!!!!!
I couldn't imagine trying to get to the hospital in all this snow at the mo though!

I was horrified when OH came home early yesterday too, fortunately, the house was pristine:p

I'd like a summer baby as all DHs family are winter babies and so are most of mine....but thats in an ideal world:) In reality I couldn't give a toss I just wanna get fat & cook a baby:D

I had a lovely day yesterday, was spoilt quite a bit and I have a HUGE box of Dark Chocs to work my way through..and even better, DH won't nick any coz he can't stand dark choc:j:j:rotfl:
