Welcome TwiceasNice:beer:
Like you, I don't have a child, and had a mc. Let's hope we'll get BFP which stick this time:o0 -
Wasn't supposed to be posting today as I have a mountain of presents to wrap, a house to clean in anticipation of guests, supermarket shopping to do and a theory test to study for, but I couldn't not.
Naughty naughty courgette. Shame on you!! We're never going to listen to you now you big hypocrite!! :rotfl: Only kidding. Congrats to you and Mr Courgette!! :T . Here's to a happy, healthy 8 months. Don't worry about the wine or the eggs or the goats cheese. I doubt its done any harm. In fact, my sister didn't find out she was pregnant til she was 6 months - every test, inlcuding the doctors was a BFN. She drank heavily and smoked and her DD was born a healthy 8lbs something, and is now a perfectly healthy 10 year old
And congrats to Mylittesisterlola (you've not upset me) and Neneromanova. I am a teensy bit jealous but it also makes me happy because you've got what you've been hoping for, and it provides hope. This would be a very depressing thread if people didn't get BFPs.
Welcome to the newbies. Hope your time here is short (in a good way, we don't want rid of you or anything). For Quaver, I'd never tell OH about the technicalities of it all. He's a delicate flower and would wilt under the pressure. I just tell him I'm in the mood and jump on him.
Happy to report BDing was successful :T so hopefully one of the wee swimmers will get through and I'll have done my part by oving (no idea, my temperature is all over the place and my body is doing odd things) and my uterus wont object.
ooops. Long post. I'm not procratinating or anything!!0 -
Hi twiceasnice, like you and Quaver I don't have a child and I had an early m/c (5 weeks felt like a period but knew it wasn't as had a BFP before that) in early Nov. BTW I'm 30 and my DH is 35, have lots of wonderful nieces and nephews and want to add to the family!
I didn't wait a cycle either but AF is just finishing now the first one from my m/c, hoping for a BFP and a sticky bean in 2010!
Hope a swimmer did make it sleepytigerThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

I've been very very naughty and done something I tell everyone else not to do. AF due Tuesday but I tested this morning. Tiny little positive. Am in shock, don't know what to think, was sure I was out this month. I now have to endure the wait to see if AF turns up and know full well if she does it's in fact an early mc
Tut tutFingers crossed TLP turns into BFP:D
I caught up but can't remember anything else:o
Welcome newbies, hugs if you need them.... ummm yes that should cover everything!;)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
No kids either. Put some Christmas music on earlier and put up the tree and couldn't help thinking how much more fun it would have been dancing and singing with kids around. Having no kids seems to hurt a lot more around this time of year. Its never more obvious that something is missing than when you realise there's nobody getting all excited about santa coming..
Meh. I've depressed myself now. Next year.
Question. AF isn't due til after Christmas. If I don't drink I'll attract attention. I'm allergic to antibiotics so can't use that excuse. Chances are I'm not pregnant anyway. Should I be a bad potential mummy and drink a little or should I just say I'm after not drinking and be disowned and proclaimed a bad irishwoman?0 -
congrats to Neneromanova and courgette!!!!!!
you made me be naughty too and did a test, was so obviously going to be a bfn as not even due af till friday, but had convinced myself there was a chance so now mightily miffed!!!!! (all my own fault)
i only have this week at work and then off for a whole two weeks over christmas, yeah!!!!0 -

Hi everyone, thats good news courgette. What started off as a good day has turned in to a bad day. I submitted my assignment on friday night and today i looked at the receipt that i got by email, to find that i have sent the wrong assignment in, i sent the draft one in. Im hoping that my tutor will cancel it so i can send the right one in.
I have for past two days been getting a lot of discharge, more so today and its more like egg whites now. Done a ov test and its still negative. I have been getting the period like pains today.Married 09/09/090 -
Thanks for the congratulations, everyone
I'm still in shock but feeling calmer now. I bought a FRER to double check and that came up positive in about a nano-second :T so looks like I'm with child! Obviously I'm nervous due to mc last time but I want to enjoy every minute too so trying not to dwell. I'll be happier once I'm passed 7 weeks and even happier once I pass 12 weeks and have had my scan
Moneysaver sounds like you're definitely oving to me, trust how you feel rather than the ov sticks, they're not totally reliable. Try not to worry about the essay either, just get in touch asap tomorrow

Congratulations to all the new BFPs!! :j
Kitkat - you bursting into tears had me welling up slightly too, damn those hormones!
Glad im not the only one Courgette, I have been crying over the stupidest things, I ran out of tissues yesterday and cried about that! I even cried when I told my sister, and my mother about the BFP! Just hope the little bean sticks.
I hear there are also congratulations to you Courgette, and Neneromanova. Hope everything goes well for you.
