Afternoon everyone (was going to type "morning" as I'm still in my pjs (lazy? moi?) but realised it's now afternoon!)

Congratulations to Kitkat and Nen! How very exciting :):)

Hope your freezer holds out smartie - in our old house the freezer started leaking and it held out until we moved (about 6 months or so) so fingers crossed yours will be fine :)

I'm feeling pretty grotty today. I'm sure AF is about to put in an appearance and I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. Added to this, my shoulder is giving me a lot of pain after my op and all in all I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself. Think I'm going to have a lazy day and not do very much. I need to go and get some foliage for my Christmas wreath but that should be fairly easy as I have a few conifers and holly bushes in the garden!

Hope you are all having a better day than I am :) xxx

Ah Congratulations to ALL the bfp's! :T:T:T
I'm sure I speak for a lot of the old timers on here that say whilst we may have a touch of the green eyed monster that you get to leave the thread before us but we still hope you all have happy and healthy pg's and we don't see you back here! (In the nicest possible way of course!)
Well I've been here far too long! Af is due tomorrow unless the b6 is kicking in to give me a longer luteal phase! Virtually nil chance of bfp this month due to the dreaded swine flu so not holding out any hope. I did do a test this morning as I do normally have spotting day before af but nothing yet. Also FF said it was my test date today and have work's xmas do tonight and have chosen pate for starter! Anyway was a bfn so just hoping af stays away a couple more days so that at least lp will have been increased this month. WIll also be due for ov'ing around xmas then and may manage more bd'ing when not at work! :T
  • Congrats to all BFPs :j:j As Becs says we all wish you luck but obviously have a little touch of green eyed monster as we want a BFP and could I add get a BFP and a sticky bean! Got a bit emotional yesterday with AF pains as was thinking not fair shouldn't even be having my AF, anyway have to move on . . I wish everyone with BFPs a sticky bean and hope (in a good way) don't come back!

Confuzzled glad to hear you enjoyed the free bar as I work in the public sector don't have such joys!

I know some of you mentioned Gavin and Stacey re ttc, been catching up with it today on iplayer and is nice to see the traumas/issues of ttc been accurately reflected rather than soaps whose women seem to get pgt after one bd!

Have a good evening ladies, will be strictly then X Factor not sure who I want to win - not Stacey though as find her 'dumb blonde' thing annoying!

Bought our Christmas tree today :D Smells gorgeous!

AF on her way though and I feel so p!ssed off. Back is killing me and the novelty of ttc has long worn off now. We saw the most gorgeous little baby when we were in a cafe and both had a little cry.

Off to lick my wounds, PMA will return tomorrow

sir monster I watched it on iplayer too! Loved the scene in the chemist and also the scene in the club toilet where she said she weed on her hand in front of him.

Stacey was also ss too on the bus (whilst telling gavin on the phone) she said she had sore boobs and felt sick.

D'you think the writers ruth and james cordon have been reading this thread girls???

I asked DH today (who said he watched the programme when it was on tv) if he'd hold the stick next time I test... <I was only joking> while I weed and he told me to do it alone and get back to him in 18 years. I said..

    18 years later

"Oh hi, by the way, it was negative"

We did laugh. You've got to laugh or else you might cry.

Yeah I loved the ssing, weeing on stick - not sure my DH would do that either. It was sad when she got a BFN but at least was realistic unlike eastenders who seem to have sex once and then get pregnant! Saw episode 2 when she was like we have to do it twice a day and the morning one doesn't have to be special, even do it with her when she is sleeping  Also when she is desperate to bd at his parents house and they don't (I think we have all been in the situation when we know we need to bd but it really isn't going to happen!) Like you said is good to try to laugh at this things.

Made me laugh re the 18 years thing :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you are feeling better xx

I hate saying this as I got pregnant so quickly and others are obviously try for years. But I'm just so happy. :D
    Congratulations! :j:j:j
How long have you been trying?

    Good morning everyone!

CD8 here. My cycle is long and irregular, so my ov is sometime around 21st Dec. Should I tell OH when my ov is or shall I just don't mention it?
It is our first cycle TTC so I don't want to make it un-romantic:o (but definitely want to BD around ov dates:cool:)
