    congratulations kitkat :)

I still don't really know if I've actually ovd this month, FF is saying ov not detected by temp, but it could be cos I messed up doing it for the first week so it probably hasn't been accurate and CM hasn't really been stretchy this month. AF due xmas eve so if she doesn't appear I guess I'll think about testing.

I met up with a friend tonight (she's single and has never ttc), i was trying to explain temping and CM to her and she had a go at me for being obsessive about it all. I was a bit upset actually :( and explained that with the pcos it's really helpful to try and ascertain if i'm oving or not.

Before that I had work xmas do no1. I had a few sips of champagne and a small glass of wine...mainly as otherwise it would be so obvious I wasn't drinking and the rumours would be right round the office. Until I've got my contract extension in writing I don't want anyone suspecting I'm ttc...

I'm afraid I have no idea about xfactor or similar....

And don't forget to report back:)

Hi all just reporting back, went to see the nurse, was tested and she confirmed I am pregnant, I am between 3-5 weeks gone. She said I need to book in with the doctor next week to get exact dates and to arrange to meet a midwife. It is still really early days, and she said I am a high risk for MC due to my health. When she told me I was preg I burst into tears! It all seems so real, but I am still not getting over enthusiastic. I feel abit bad about how I hav gone on about my positive result, and I promise you all I am not rubbing it in, I know how tough it can be reading that someone has had a BFP when you hve had a BFN, it really hurts. I would like to thank-you all for your support, and thanks, with making TTC more bearable. Sending positive BFP vibes to all of you, just hope this little one sticks!
OH is very excited! The first thing I said to him was 'I didnt think you had it in you' lol :rotfl:which went down well! Told my sister, she was mixed and my mum was happy. Not telling too many people, but I went out tonight for drinks, and it was tough not drinking, used the 'antibiotics' excuse but everyone kept saying to have a drink its better with antibiotics, what are they like! Think its going to be hard to cover up at the mo, my belly has even blown up a little (apparently normal at this early stage) and I feel like I cannot hide it!

Morning girlies and well done Kitkat!!!:j

Am on a bit of a downer today. I think am supposed to OV today but FF has no chance of knowing as my temp is all over the place i'm so ill. Which of course has meant no BD for us. We've only managed it once on the first fertile day so we're not holding out much hope.

DH's right, it's so cruel. I haven't had a cold in 2 years, it could have picked any other time in the month, but it picked my OV time. If we don't get our BFP (or even a TLP - i'm not greedy ;) ) then we'll be into our 5th month TTC and that's far too close to 6 months for my liking.

Ahh well, best get on. Feeling really $hitty and I can hear darling Nephew screaming his head off upstairs. Duty calls - the inlaws need looking after.

    Babydust to all

    :j :j :j Don't feel bad, we're all very happy for you!

Fingers crossed to you all for a happy healthy 8 (or so) months. Looks like the December BFPs have started (I hope - for everyone!).

CD19 for me and DHs work Xmas do tonight. Have sore boobies and starting to get twinges in my lower abdomen. Also had the feeling that I'm going to have a 'sick-up' (as DH and DSD calls it - no idea what it's real name is) for the last few days. SS, moi?? :D

Oh well, off to carry on with crafty stuff (starting to panic now!), fingers crossed I'll have made another toy by the the time I have to go and have a shower for the Xmas do!

Especially jealous of confuzzled - free bar!! Well it would be rude to turn that down lol!! Hope you are having fun pickling babies!! :D I am currently quaffing a yummy botlte of vino DH's boss bought him for Christmas - free wine tastes even better!! :j
Free bar is always a winner:beer: And we definitely took advantage of it:o So needless to say I'm feeling extremely sickly and delicate and unfortunately not for the right reasons:rolleyes: If I am growing anything then its most definitely pickled....a week of healthy eating for me now(just in case;))
Poor DH has had to go to work too:( So on top of feeling rough, I've got to suffer in silence(even the cat legged it!) and then make a fuss of himself when he gets home:rolleyes: Who needs kids when you've got hubbies eh?? lol

I tried explaining to my best mate about ttc and the things to look out for....she thought it was gross and has refused to talk about it ever since:rotfl::rotfl: and I imagine to someone who isn't ttc or deperate to get pg it does sound like an obsession but we know better:cool:

And no idea about x factor et al:eek::eek: Do you live under a stone?:p:D

Congrats to the bfps:j:j Once I can see straight I might think about updating the list....unless a sober person wants to do it for me!?!?!?:A:)
