Hi, hope you all don't mind me joining you? I've been on this thread before but due to circumstances we had to put off ttc for a little while as I had to have an operation
Nothing too serious and I'm on the mend now so we can start b'd-ing :j:j:j:j:j:j
I'm 31 years old and live with my lovely fiance. We're planning to get married next year but am getting stressed about planning it! We're starting to seriously consider running aay to Gretna Green and just doing it!!! lol
Anyway, AF is due in the next week or so and there is zero chance of me being pg this month due to the op so looking forward to AF arriving so we can start ttc properly! :T:T:T
Hope everyone who's waiting to test gets a BFP

We bd's for the week before fertility every other day and for the 5 fertile/very fertile days we Bd'd once a day ( whether we felt like it or not, I'm a hard task master ) and then for the next week we bd'd every other day just in case, I lay on the bed for 20 minutes after bding, took showers instead of baths, and as for positions I heard rear entry was a good position to conceive or missionary. I read somewhere that sperm can survive for 3 days up there and a egg normally lasts 12/24 hours so at least every other day should do it.
Hope this helps someone
This is about what we've been doing...peaked a little early though with bd'ing almost every day last week! I've read a couple of books, including one by Prof Robert Winston that DH made me read as he thought the stuff I was reading was a bit quacky! :rotfl: They can def live for a while up there so more bding generally seems to be the thing!
I think i may be about to ov, CM becoming thinner and clearer, usually gets a bit lumpy too (sorry if tmi) but haven't noticed that yet....I may have to wake DH up early in the morning as I'm out tomorrow night!
Don't think I've been doing the temp right though, only realised yesterday I'm meant to do it before getting out of bed, which I did this morning. It's been pretty constant since I started except for a couple of spikes last weekend but I'd had a drink both previous evenings and stayed in bed later in the morning so the flat was warmer...
Hmmm, I may be starting to obsess!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Temping is not exact science...0 -
I've been temping for the past 3 months, it looks good with low phase and a dip, then about 14 days of high phase. But I have this jet lag which makes me wake up really early, and I don't want to wake hubby up by temping (it beeps). So although my period came 5 days ago, the temperature is still up:rolleyes: (No I'm not pregnant, no BD last month).
Temping is not exact science...
lol I said I wouldn't temp as it beeps too but DH said, 'your alarm already wakes me up (i get up much earlier than him), one more beep won't matter!'.
I'm not going to keep temping forever, just want an idea...it's high again today which would be consistent with me having ovd tues, but cm wasn't right then so we'll see!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Becs... hope you're ok now after having your MRI :grouphug:
Having a bit of a crap time. Spotting got very light yesterday BUT ***TMI WARNING*** had a lot of dark bron lining type stuffthen AF started proper and last night I had a HUGE blood clot type thing:eek: It scared me!:o I usually get little clots but this one was a monster!! AF has settled down a bit now thankfully
Hurry up and go AF so we can can get on with the next round of BDing;) Lost count of how many months we've been trying (8 months or so).... and yes I have been having sex around fertile time:rolleyes:
And oooo yes... the night before last I had the most strange dream ever. Short version: there was the most cutest little girl, about 3 years old, who turned out to be my daughter!!!!:rotfl:
Hugs to all xBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Anyway, someone tell me to behave please!Fuzz don't talk to me about cars! Last month for our 2 cars we had,
4 new tyres £430, diagnostic test on mine £80, Software update and gearbox oil change on mine £180, Service on mine £230, and car tax for both cars for 6 months £236.50 as well as buildings and contents insurance on the house! Bye bye savings!
When I asked about the dye the radiographer and nurse looked at ewach other oddly as if to kind of say "oh sh*t!" and then kind of blagged it and said "oh you don't always need it!" I wasn't convinced and I will be really cheesed off if I have to go through it all again. The last 2 scans I haven't been allowed to move at all whilst they do the injection so that I'm in exactly the same position for the second set of scans. I'm guessing that it was too late by this stage this morning as they had taken everything off and moved me! We'll see but I'm fully expecting a phonecall to say it hasn't been done properly!
I am very :mad::mad: on your behalf if the hospital decide you have to have it done again:mad: Stupid frickin radiographer & nurse:mad:
A big welcome to mancbirdHope you're not here for long:)
SM sorry AF got you but glad you're ok about it:) and (((HUGS))) for your SIL:(
Courgette totally get what you mean about the big NOT FERTILE on MMC, its depressing so I tend to avoid that page when I'm not OVing...on the flip side its great when it has FERTILE in huge letters you can't miss:D Is it sad that that gets me excited?!:D
