OH and I had a row last night over the whole ttc thing. I've taken it quite badly this month and he basically said that if I was going to get like that every month it doesnt happen, he doesnt think he is going to be able to handle it. I don't feel he has been particularly supportive, but then again maybe I am expecting too much, and as my mother always says, men often dont understand the depth of emotion us women have..maybe I'm expecting too much.
oh well..nothing else to do really but crack on I guess.
Quick question re ov sticks...when can I start using them? Do I wait until a few days before I should be ov'ing and then use them?
Head's all over the place today...
MV - my DH and i were havin the same thing a couple of weeks agao. I think they really don't understand what we go through. Hugs
On the OV stick thing not too sure. This is why i went and got a kit where you POAS each day from the last day of your period! Seemed easier to me then on certain days of the month! and waiting for things to come to room temp etc etc.....anything for an easy life me!
Mind you with the kit at £19.99  a month not very MSE!If you can think it........it will happen0 -
hi everyone :hello:
I had a great weekend plenty of BDing !!! I was OV at weekend so i was pretty much grabbing DH every 5 mins !! I feel really happy today and i am feeling quite positive !! I know its my first cycle of TTC so i am not getting to carried away, although i have bough some pregnancy testing kits from ebay today!! I know it probably wont happen first time but i had soooooo much fun trying all weekend !!!:rotfl:

MV - I think you have to keep in mind that men are basically useless. They think their role is to protect you from everything negative, so when you're facing something bad, their instinct is to stop rather than watch you suffer. Or something.
Anyway I'll stop talking nonsense and offer a virtual hug. Just don't get too close because....
....despite me trying to avoid the winter colds going around, some rude eejit sneezed right in my face on the street and now I'm all sniffly. Tucked up under a blanket on the sofa going through so many tissues it looks like its been snowing in here. Plus AF is doing a weird start-stop thing.
Are the OV kits worth it or is it best (more :money:) to just to monitor cm and cervical position?
This is all very weird. I've spent that last however many years panicking with every split condom, taking the morning after pill and sweating through late periods in a panic and it turns out it's really not that easy to get pregnant. Weird.0 -

Oh and totally with youon the how weird it is to be hoping rather than panicking whenever AF is a little late:D1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

afternoon everyone
I'm not going to use anything unless I'm still trying in over 12 months or so. I know DD took over 3 years to concieve, DS took just doing it one time at the right time, previous mc 3 years after ds and then latest pregnancy was 15 months after previous mc (although we didnt try for 6 months as we had a few issues). I'm not overly worried about getting pregnant I know that will happen eventually even if it take a year or 2 I'm mostly worried about it being a sticky baby this time and if its not I dont think I could do it again.
Had a weekend without the kids and made so much of being able to get out and have some fun with OH we were too shattered to do too much bding but did manage it. I'm still going to test christmas day if no AF before then, it will be 6 weeks since mc so possible but I wont let it spoil my day if its not.0 -
I'm a bit lost now, my free trial to FF expired and now they want me to pay to retrieve my chart, eek! I'm on CD30 today, had a 36 day cycle last month but 28 is normal. POAS this morning and it was negative. Got a horrible feeling that AF will be along soon, not sure when.0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: have images of my colleagues faces as I plonk a pot of wee down on my desk to get to room temp.
It's very difficult getting out of the preventing pregnancy mindset and into the causing it one - you'd think that just stopping the measures would be enough. Mind you, looking at some of the people I saw pushing buggies through town earlier, it seems the best way is to stay very drunk on cheap cider, wear awful tracksuits, tie your hair up really tightly and smoke lots. Might try that technique next month :rotfl:0 -

Evening All :j
Nothing to report from me TTC wise. Due to ov sometime this next week so need to keep hubbys energy levels upReally hope that this is our month but onwards and upwards if not.
The only thing that it keeping me sane through it all is knowing that I have another month under my belt to get totally debt free before having a bubs. Focusing on that at the moment and hoping that the TTC will take care of itself
Good luck to everyone that is due to test and hugs to those that need them. Looking forward to seeing someone with a big belly knowing that its a bloke and he'll have a few nice gifts for this very good girl
