i got mine from amazon, it was about £60, the sticks are about £12 but last 2 cycles.

i thought it was expensive too but after 9 months i thought it was worth a try, since using it in augist have had 2 bfp, sadly mc both times, but am hoping for 3rd time lucky and a nice christmas bfp and sticky bean, not that i'm greedy..............

The CMFM is quite pricey - I think it's about £100.

Have you tried the OV sticks? You can get them very cheap on ebay, or I have used the clearblue digital ones. It's surprising how quick you get used to poas (pee on a stick )

No, Heather had sex with Darren on Valentines Day and got pregant :rolleyes:. He's the one who looks so young you'd think he wouldn't know what to do with it

I think someone asked re opks I've used the superdrug ones and it usually tells you in the packet when to start using them depending on your cycle, eg if your are 28 days start on day 10 and wait until 2 dark lines and then bd as this highlights the LH rise before you ovulate. The best mse offers at mo are superdrug are doing BOGOF (£16 for two), FR are BOGOF on all their range in Boots (so can get some opks and pg tests) and I noticed tescos had them the other day for a bargain £7!! Good luck ladies hope we all get the best xmas or new year pressie ever.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mc, I had one too in Aug.

I went back to the hospital for more blood tests today and my hcg level has now fallen to just 200:D:D:D So glad because I really could not face more tests and ops. Have to go back for one more blood test next Monday it shouold be negative by then. Then I will be onto more tests to find out why I keep mc'ing

Hi All,

Well, um, i dont know if im in the right place, OH and i are not TTC yet, but we have been discussing it and making our plan, this all ties in with the IUD Coil that i have being up in August (5 years).

We have said that if it happened now, we would both be extatic, so the next step is to start planning when to remove the contraception and start making babies

I was wondering if any one could tell me, with the coil, um, is it like an instant thing, like if you stop taking the pill it stops working, so when it reaches the 5 years it will suddenly become ineffective?

Also, our mission next year, is to get my back in better shape through exercise and to start getting ourselves in better health and finances before we start the long road to [STRIKE]contraception[/STRIKE] conception. Is there any think i should be doing now? i know its 8 whole months away potentially, but if there are things that i can do to make our chances better i would love to know.

Essential info, im 27, OH is 35, no previous children or pregnancies and never taken this step before (so both totally lost in the unknown)
