Ooh gymfiend your thai buffet sounds gorge, love all you can eat, I have only been to one proper one before when I was early days preg, gawd I ate soooo much, especially of the crispy duck, nom!!
Well the bread rolls are in the oven along with the chicken, I am gonna do a roast with broc, cauli, carrots, roast potatoes and stuffing, dont think I can be jeffed to make yorkie puds today though.Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Fatty - I'm with you on Sunday being a pig out day hehe, just munched thru 2 nommy cheese and ham toasties, think I may be atticted to them hehe. Had raisin and cinnamon bagels for brekkie and OH is cooking a roast later too, oh and cream cakes for after lol.
Nikkit - we got a washer/dryer a month or two back and agree you dont realise how much easier they make your life. Tho we tend to try and avoid drying everything or just part dry them to get 'em started. Am hoping it doesnt up our leccie bill too much, but as our cheapie tarif from last year just ended too am expecting a bit of a rise in price. Oh and we used to be on a key meter, nightmare having to constantly top up, and agree a rip off.
Gym - my MIL is a sweetie and totally OTT when it comes to buyin stuff for baby. She has spent a fortune (it was her who bought us our washer/dryer and its AEG so no cheapie either) on stuff for not only us but for her place too so we dont have to cart stuff about. But then as her other two sons are not able to have children and its taken us 6 years to get as far as our first, theres this element of it could be one and only grandchild so lets go all out lol. She's already talking about next Xmas and Dolls House when she is 4! BIL jokes she'll have all her school uniform bought soon too...eek! We do keep tellin her she's spending too much though and to calm down, like the pushchair she bought her self for her house is £175!!!
Well finally managed to pop to Sainsburys before there 25% off clothing event ends tomorrow. Picked up a 7 pack of pink motifed long short body suits £6, 5 pack of pink long sleeve body suits £3.75, 3 pink sleep suits £3.37 and a pair of pink booties £1.31, also got 3 of their value hand towels at 72p each to use on change unit to keep it clean, and warm thru the winter (plan on keeping themon the radiator between changes).Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

I like ur idea of keeping the towels on the radiator between changes Som, I might have to 'borrow' that idea, hehe!!
Well I have just sampled a bread roll, purely for testing purposesand not bad for a first attempt!! Does taste a little bland but I wonder if thats just cos it hasnt got all the rubbish in that shop bread has, although I think next time I will put some sugar in like I used to when I used the breadmaker to make it a little sweet. Mmm...

have just been looking at tens machine and think i have found a great deal HERE what do u guys think ? £40 down to £19.99 , very tempted
I bought a tumble dryer last week , and omg how the hell did i do without it , its great washing in morning , drying hour later , ironed hour later and all put away with 4 hours of starting ,, its fab !!
The only thing I'd say about that Tens machine is that it doesn't seem to have a boost button, which is what our MW said to look for so you can boost it at the height of contractions. I got the Lloyds Pharmacy one which has a boost button and cost £30 but I got cashback through Quidco too.
Dawn Rose- Welcome and congratulations.
Fattybooboo- no news here. Getting decidedly fed up, but no signs that anything is happening....:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Dawn rose - welcome and congrats xx
boo - steal away, its not really my idea as I read it somewhere in a book lol, but dont like the idea of baby girl getting cold and upset during a nappy change and I know our bathroom can be a little chilly at times.
gisi - sounds like you got a good deal on your tens machineBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

MAHUSIVE LABOUR VIBES TO GISI!!
Aww try not to be fed up GISI, things could start happening at any minute. Really hope things start happening for you soon. I really sympathise though as I am feeling super impatient and Im not even at due date yet!! Did you see my friend from work had her baby yesterday, sure that has made me even worsely impatient, lol!! I have had 2 cups of RLT today to try and help and gonna do some ball bouncing in a min but otherwise i guess its just a waiting game isnt it, as DH isnt keen to DTD this close to the due date, even though I keep telling him it might help start things!! Grr men!! xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Thank you! I think I feel more annoyed that I've done all the suggested things like pineapple, RLT, EPO, gym ball, walking up stairs and still nothing is happening. We've DTD a couple of times but it's pretty uncomfortable, tbh!
Labour vibes to you too. I think if I was you knowing my friend had had her baby would make me worse too! Two other wives from my OH's work were due last week too but as far as I know neither of them have had their babies yet either!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
