    Morning all (oooops, afternoon)

Congratulations to littlebit, Max is adorable:)

Welcome to all the newly pregnant ladies too:)

Mrs ihenetu - I hope you are ok? I found the pregnancy more tiring with ds2....Ds2 was born when ds1 was 23mths old so he was only about 13/14mths when I fell pregnant....
This time I am now 3mths pregnant and have the two older boys 7&9 and a 7mth old baby to contend with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My arm felt funny, weak yesterday where she had stabbed me to take blood on friday......it is still a little weak today too??

    Mel x

  • Well I have been to lidl and stocked up (again!!). Noticed they have pampers nappies on offer but slightly bigger sizes, maybe 4 and 5?? My preg brain is still kicking in cos I am also doubting what they cost, mightve been 2 packs for £13.50 ish?? Dont quote me on that!! Have decided we really need to start doing one bigger shop rather than going for little shops all the time as Im sure this is more expensive.

Anyhoo, got back and have started making some bread. Just waiting for it to rise now. I improvised with using butter instead of vegetable fat so hopefully it will still work!! TBH I just wanted to use up the ingredients as the flour and yeast have been sat in cupboard for ages since I returned our breadmaker as it wasnt very good.

    xx

fattyboo - butter should still work fine, as a lot of bread recipes call for butter anyway! People just tend to use veg oil as it's much cheaper. If your yeast is a bit old, you might wanna increasing rising time or make sure it's in quite a warm place to help it out a bit.

I'm baking too! Just did some cheese scones, nomnom...had a large carton of buttermilk from last week that needed using up so have trying to find things to make with it...pancakes this morning and scones this arvo - hubby is in heaven, LOL!

Our LL bought us a dehumidifier yesterday, so I am in HEAVEN...finally our clothes will dry within a reasonable amount of time!

well we was on electric meter , with eon and kept asking to change to a normal meter and they said no unless we paid £100, after phoning around we chamged to british gas who changed our meter no problem and free of charge and we pay 50% less than when we was on a meter instead of £240 a quater its now £120 , i think its disgusting how these companies can charge so much more on pre payment meters, but i still put away what i would of paid on eon just incase and when our bill comes in , we benefit as i pay the bill and spend the rest whats over on goodies , i just wont spend on goodies i will pay for the tiumble dryer useage ,
we need the dryer as theres 5 of us here 6 when bubs comes and the house was stinking like cat pee because the washing was all over the house , i would rather have big electric bill than a smelly house

    Hellooo :)

Moos I think you're having a little girl, because...why not?! Do you have an inkling?

Som your mother in law sounds lovely, you lucky thing! Wonder if we have the same coat, I have a swing style one from Tesco's too :) Bought in my usual size, think it'll be ok because it's only got toggle fasteners at the top so should flare over bump...if not, tough luck, refuse to spend on maternity wear :P

Oooh very jealous of your tumble dryer, I want one but a/ have no room and b/ am afraid of the electricity bill, as mum is eternally telling me they cost a fortune when I mention getting one? Sure I could find out exact usage stats if I cared enough though, maybe when baby arrives & we have a bigger kitchen!

Well with a bit of inspiration from you all, I made chocolate muffins with little sis last night & some cookies this morning, all turned out lovely too, very proud :D Just got back from lunch out too so suitably full today, went to a thai buffet & my word I got my moneys worth!!! Picked up a sweet top from H&M for baby, it's a lovely white long sleeved one with 'I <3 Dad' on it :D They've got some gorgeous little girls clothes in for anyone having a girlie :)
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

Gymfiend, I have no idea but I do feel completely different this time compared to last time and I would like a boy because I lost my Dad in february so I would like to name him after him. Either way I'll be happy though because if it's another girl it's much more :money: and it's an excuse to have another one :rotfl:

All your baking sounds yummy, I was going to make a banana cake but me and DD went for a nap instead so I think I'll do it tomorrow:o
