That sounds great Kindof :) Keep sticking to it! I need to stick to the meal plan from now on as it's so much better having meals worked out instead of faffing about to see what's in...alot easier :)

It is isn't it :) its nice knowing what I am making tomorrow, obv if we didnt fancy it we could swap it for something else on the weekly menu

Still no SJ?? come on girlie lol

  • The same amount as me then Xmas...well I wouldn't carry on taking all that everyday as I would be the same. Either cut it down or maybe have a word with the doc if you're unsure :)

I havent think i may have to knock it on the head completely i only took one dose today at around lunch time by the time i got back from picking the kids up i had to run to the loo. I've done a bit of googleing and it can be used as a laxative maybe i'm just very sensitive to it. Will speak to the doc when i can.

Any natural remedies you lot can think of would be appreciated although i must point out that i hate prunes with a vengance and prune juice xx

EA - yeay for more money than expected :) was this your first month on SMP? Oh and am not a fish lover either can do cod and haddock without bones and thats it.

muso - seems your right on track then, glad MW appointment went well, good luck with the MA forms!

SS - i used my bump bands to help hold up my pants early on, when I first got my pat jeans they never stayed up. Now I have the opposite issue! Tho I do occasionally use them as a gap filler now :D

Guinea - good to see you and pleased your still enjoying pg despite all the aches and pains :D

gym - yeay for standing up to MW about BF'ing :D Oh and I think your right diff areas have diff ways of measuring cos when I was told 1 to 2 5ths engaged she meant 1 to 2 5ths were in the pelvis!

Kindof - how was the pasta bake, sounds nommy but my OH wouldnt eat it, why are men such a pain with food! How do you manage to stick to £35 a week shopping? if we get under £50 am impressed! Am fortunate dont need to rely on anyone for lifts as I drive, but we only have the one car between us which can be a pain! I miss not having two cars but financially its not viable and if were honest not needed most of the time. Oh and if you like those match 3 games then if you go to Big Fish games you can downlaod and play for 60 min free. I do that then delete them from comp and download another, there are 3 versions of fishdom you can download :D

Agutka - sorry to hear about the GD, hope it doesnt cause you too many issues xx

ymake - sorry to hear your suffering! Have come off the lactulose for the mo as I dont seem to be suffering even now am on double the iron! altho have been eating dif stuff including dried apricots Mmmm :)

Jolene - think your bump looks fine and your certainly no bigger than I was then, it all depends on build I think tho!

xmas - Ive been given lactulose too and find when I do need it just one dose a day is enough. I think 3 spoons (15ml I think) is standard dose, Id thought mine was working a lil too well too!

ON the subject of cord cutting my OH really wanted to do it even tho he is a complete wuss on the blood and guts front, after watching the canular go in the back of my hand on my last visit to labour ward he isnt so sure now! I said if he doesnt then I will if Im able.

Congrats on job CAFC! What is it you're doing? My best mate is 16 weeks pregnant and got made redundant just before xmas so looking for some advice for her. She really wants to be working but has been so poorly with ms all the time that there's no way she could have worked so far. She's getting better now and something like that would probably suit her nicely

Oh bless her. It really is no fun. I found it really hard applying for jobs, because i felt like they should no because i didnt want to mislead anyone...

I'm doing some software manual updates for a hospital server (got put in touch with them through BiL).....

I'd suggest she maybe look at temp work, something admin based, where you can sit down, and not have to deal with people all the time. She'd qualify for maternity allowance at the very least i imagine..... how long was she working there for?

Oh and you can suggest sites like dooyoo, writing reviews keeps me entertained, and they pay as well, not a great amount but its money, and if you write say 2/3 a day, you'd earn £50 in a month....

She was there for 5 years so got a decent redundancy package, but baby wasn't planned (still very much wanted tho!) and she's marrying her OH this month so money it a bit tight understandably!! Think she's bored as much as anything else now lol

Will definitely let her know about the reviews

  • Evening all, was off galavanting today at the designer outlets in Livingstone - walked for ages and had to keep having a seat! I dont drink tea or coffe but whenever my aunt wanted to pop into tea shops, you can bet i was the first one sitting!! Had a look in the Mamas and Papas outlet - they have maternity wear on sale at really good prices, under £10 for most of it - nothing I fancied but worth a look if anyone's after something!

Kindof - you mentioned bump bands - the one i got is a bit snug but I find that it does help hold up bump as well as holding up my trousers! lol Not a great deal of support but the physios at the hospital hear dont have the funding to give out belts for SPD and so give out big tubi grip type stuff instead - i find the band a bit more supportive than that.

SJ- congrats! Cant wait to hear the details!

NikkiT - hope things speed up a bit for you!!

Agutka - thats awful about your GD. I've not experienced it myself but my son was diagnosed with insulin dependant diabetes at 3yo and tests his blood sugars 4xdaily and gives himself 3 injections a day (he's 8 now) - if he can do it, I'm sure you can too! Once you get into a routine it wont seem so bad, just daunting now if you're not sure what to expect. Start writing down all the questions you have though and make sure you get the answers you need from the diabetes team when you see them - call them daily if you need too, thats what they are there for! And (dont tell them i told you this, but) dont deprive yourself - if the majority of your diet is what they tell you it should be, then the odd treat shouldn't do any harm - I'm not sure what they say for GD but with other diabetics a balanced diet is what they're looking for - we're only human afterall! Take care and best wishes!

I'm defrosting a portion of my mince and bean chilli so off to have that while i watch Glee!!!!

    have a good nite ladies,
    mo x
