I dont drink tea or coffe but whenever my aunt wanted to pop into tea shops, you can bet i was the first one sitting!! Had a look in the Mamas and Papas outlet - they have maternity wear on sale at really good prices, under £10 for most of it - nothing I fancied but worth a look if anyone's after something!
ooh haven't been through to Livi for yonks, though I did hear that they've got a M&P outlet through there - it's getting very tempting to go through for a browse0 -
Cafc- not sure if your question earlier has been answered-haven't had a chance to read through todays posts yet, but, the charity that help offer support to families is Sure start. They have drop in childrens centres which they're hoping to get into each community (they are building one right next to my dd's school atm
) where they do lots of classes (baby clinic, baby massage,pg yoga, music and movement for babies and toddlers etc etc-all FREE) and they also offer a home visiting service where volunteers 'befriend' a family to give support/friendship this part is called Home start.
I was about to train as a volunteer when I found out I was pg but would love to have a go after bubs is born and i will be making full use of all the classes and facilities on offer at childrens centre:D

maureen, please don't give me the green light for chocolate :j, when my surgeon said you can eat anything you want now after five months of strict diet and gallstone op - I did just that and ballooned back out.
This will be good for me *she says through gritted teeth*. It just wasn't supposed to happen to me .
Glam, thanks for the post, might take you up on the pm. I'm not worried about the pregnancy being affected, as they will keep an eye out for us. I have faith. I just can't cope with having no chocolate! My diet is (was?) nowhere near what the leaflet says, so the change will be painful. I'm already miserable and it's not even been a day!
And can you all please stop talking about food!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
PS I made mum's recipe apple cake recently and it was yummy. I asked her is it okay for me to have it now, as it's not too full of sugar. She said maybe if you make it without sugar? Cake without sugar is bread!!:rotfl::wall:0 -
Sorry Agutka, my bad, slap my wrists!
As for the Apple cake - try Splenda!! I use it for baking with my lot and as long as you get the conversion amounts right they generally cant tell the difference between that and sugar. Good luck with everything, i'm sure you'll do it.

Kindof - how was the pasta bake, sounds nommy but my OH wouldnt eat it, why are men such a pain with food! How do you manage to stick to £35 a week shopping? if we get under £50 am impressed! Am fortunate dont need to rely on anyone for lifts as I drive, but we only have the one car between us which can be a pain! I miss not having two cars but financially its not viable and if were honest not needed most of the time. Oh and if you like those match 3 games then if you go to Big Fish games you can downlaod and play for 60 min free. I do that then delete them from comp and download another, there are 3 versions of fishdom you can download
Sometimes we go over, but its cos not every week we need meat for example, cos obv if we buy a packet of chicken breasts they last us a while so we dont need to buy them every week.
Sometimes its hell cos we need meat, and washing poweder and toilet rolls etc but then I do tend to find the next week is cheaper, I dunno lol
Ohhhh I will check that out thanks
Yeah even if I could drive we cant afford to run two cars at the minute (not till the CC's and big loan are paid off at least)
CAFC well done for getting yourself a job! £10 an hour is great!
Maureen- thanks I will try that, cos I did buy a band, so next time I go up the street I will try it out, cos it hurts usually when I walk that distance so it would be a good test, I've just started watching Glee (have it all recorded) I think I am up to episode 3
Choccy - Can anyone use the surestart place? or do you have to be a low income family (cos we arent apparantly lol) my Parent Craft classes were at the sure start centre last week.
EA thanks, awww I know SJ's sex of baby and name!!!
Morning all,
OH just went to work, I dont like it when he goes to work, cos I had to blitz the house yesterday there isnt much for me to do today, and I dont want to be bored, I guess I should watch some stuff off the sky planner cos OH is always complaining about all the stuff on there that I dont watch lol
I hope Nikkit is getting mammy cuddles

Aww! I can't wait to find out about SJ and Nikkit's new arrivals!
Morning to all, and vibes to them that need them.
I know it's not really the right place, but I am so pleased with DD! She is potty training at the minute and is doing really well. She has been pretty much there for a couple of weeks now and has no nappy in the house and goes on the toilet or her potty, but next week I'm going to bite the bullet and take her out in knickers only! (I will let her wear some other clothes too lol!) I really wanted her to be out of nappies before baby comes, but didn't want to push her if she wasn't ready, so I'm glad she has shown the signs on her own!
She is such a big girl now, it's lovely, can't believe I will be going back to all the newborn stuff again soon, and it will only have been 2 years! How quickly we forget!0
