My work have paid me more and im not to sure why lol. SMP at 90% was supposed to stop on 29th Jan and on 5th Feb i got paid £152 instead of the £123 i was expecting lol.

I dont know if i feel hungry or not, i just had a milkshake and it lessened my hunger so im thinking its prob cause i was more thirsty. But if i dont eat 3 meals a day OH moans a little lol. And also i really cant be bothered to stand in the kitchen to make something.

Plus what i fancy eating is super unhealthy lol

Back from 25 week appointment. Alls well with urine and blood pressure. Got all my forms for hipg and maternity allowance (thats gonna be fun to fill in!) and also got info on antenatal classes. Think we're going to have to go for the NHS ones as the NCT ones all clash with DH's working hours.

MW also measured me for 1st time - am measuring 25.5cm at 25 weeks. Got to do lucozade test in couple of weeks time. Think they do it as standard here as they have no reason at the mo to suggest I might have diabetes.

Hahaha Gym I've got targeted in my local Tesco before now just for picking up a bottle of wine and being refused. I was shocked and kept going on about how I did my weekly shop there with my child and that some of the sa's know me but she wouldn't have any of it. Think she was younger than me!!!

Oww... i might order some of those bands Thanks! I know that my tummy keeps popping out to say 'hello' nine times out of ten in my joggers...so these will be great x

i use my summer boob tubes for my band was much cheaper than the bands, :P

well im still here , after bouncing on ball, on exercise bike, housework, going to friends, still lots of show coming away , yucky ,

I hate being ID'd. When i was 19 i went into the co-op with my mum and bought a bottle of vodka, the woman asked for ID so i gave her my passport.

You would think that i got served right? Wrong.

The woman refused to accept it was me on the passport cause i was blonde in my picture and had brown hair in real life. So to double prove it i gave her my citizen card which says 18 on 18th January 2007
And a pic of me with black hair.

The woman then insisted that i wasn't 18 and this card proved it, im stood there saying "It says 18 in 2007, its 2008 now!!!" and my mum going "she's 18, i know cause she's my bloody daughter!!"
And this woman saying "No it says your not 18!!"

Then the manager comes down to see what the arguement is and the woman (in a very smug voice) goes "This girl is trying to buy alcohol and she's not 18" so i say "No im 19, here is my passport here is my citizen card to prove im 19"

The manager says "Yes your right, you are 19 *turns to shop assistant* it says right here she turned 18 last year, its 2008 now. You can serve her"

Do you know how much i wanted to shout "HA!" in her face...:rotfl:
I got my bottle of vodka in the end and went out and had a fab night

Nikkit I remember a lady not long ago who's show lasted days but it was gloopy like snot, but it turned out it was her waters?I can't remember her name!!Does anyone remember?Might go and search in a bit.Hope things kick off for you soon x

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days but work has been manic and the weekends are spent preparing for baby bump and cleaning the house. I, too, have a love of bleach!:D
My OH has man flu at the moment :(and so all the things we had planned at the weekend he managed to get out of; e.g. painting the ceiling/helping me clean out the rabbit; etc. :mad:I have been blessed today as my boss said that because I have to go back to school for a meeting at 6pm and we have the London trip tomorrow that I should go home and have some rest. Great! My afternoon was almost empty, otherwise I wouldn't have agreed to it! :A
Re. meals in the evening....I have found that I am actually enjoying preparing the menu a week in advance and then accumulating a shopping list for those dinners. That means that we can go to Lidl and then Costco or Tesco for the other bits and bobs. We've actually been saving money as we're not impulse buying. We always did that in the past and then throw loads of stuff out at the end of the week. Looking good so far!
Anyway, I am now 37 weeks and four days and loving every second.:T The back ache and trapped nerve are still with me but I think I've been very lucky with my pregnancy as I've heard so many horror stories about what some women have put up with. I now do have a few stretch marks but have still been lucky with those.
The count down is now really on and I do panic about all the things I haven't done. To other people these things can wait but I like things 'just so'!!:o
Midwife came round on Friday and everything is going fine. She is unhappy I am still working but I did say that if there was a problem with my health or that of the baby bump then I would stop straight away....she said there were no problems! :DWe said to her that we thought the baby would be about eight pounds four :easter_baand she has actually agreed and said that the bump is all baby and no fat. I was shocked when she agreed! I thought she say no chance!! She wanted me to make an appointment with her for next week at the surgery so as soon as she had left I phoned them up and...guess what?? The day that the mw is there.....NO APPOINTMENTS available! What a surprise(!) They are leaving a message for her to phone me back but she won't actually be there until Thursday when she wanted me to have the appointment. I think I'll phone her tomorrow as it's her day off today.
Think that's it for now! What a ramble! :laugh:

Lol EA, how thick of her! & woohoo for extra pennies! I'm still waiting on installment one of my maternity allowance, seems to be taking aaaaaaaaaaaaages.

I tried the summer bandeau's Nikkit but found they always fell down as bump isn't as big as my boobs!! You can get the bands cheaper SS - got mine on eBay for about £2.50 each or something

Reminds me on talk of antenetal - my MW was taking some community antenetal classes today and asked me what I thought of mine, said I was disappointed by the focus on breastfeeding and felt it was excluding those medically unable to breastfeed so she said she'd take that on board I was pleased as it pee'd me off at the time!

Right managed to change the bed and started bleaching the bathroom and now I'm having a rest, haha, how lazy! To be fair, MW did ask me how I was managing to move at all babies head is so low so that's my excuse :rotfl: Though I'm planning to go for a reealllly long walk into town tomorrow to hopefully get him moving a bit further in the right direction
