Anyone else buying or bought a bath thermometer, its one thing I havent got yet, but I know OH wants us to buy a digi one that bleeps if its too hot or cold.

I've never had a bath thermometer didnt know you could get fancy ones like that my bath mat does have little heat sensing patches on it though that change colour if its to hot but other than that i always use my elbow to check the temp. would be interested to know how much they cost as other half is always worried if he runs the bath so i have to go check and sort other things for him which makes me feel i like i should just do it myself lol :-)

evening all

just got back from bil and sis driving OH to his fire service physical tests and then we went for a wander round Ikea while we waited....

I bought a really cute leaf canopy for over the cot, to go with our theme..... I cant wait to finally start making up some of the stuff for his room... I would do it here but i dont wanna make mess in someone elses house etc....
I just cant wait to move now though.... the countdown begins!

I think im feeling another bump growth spurt coming on as well, bump is really itch the past couple of days and i think im tightening up ready for some growing LOL, have been slathering myself in stretch mark oil and body butter

Hi everyone, hope you're all ok?
Just about to read back as I haven't been on this weekend yet!
Woke up 4am Sat morning with a lurgy! Dodgy stomach left me running backwards and forwards to the loo. Best moment came when I started feeling dizzy and managed to pass out in the bathroom and hit my head on the floor! Anyway, felt really rough all day yesterday, but seem fine today, but DD seems to now have the dodgy stomach.
Made some yummy cookies earlier - chocolate chip and cherry! DH made a fantastic roast dinner too, so my stomach now feels fully recovered and pampered...

I got about 3 bath thermometers when I joined various sure start baby groups (like little colour changing triangles) I never used one of them, in fact they are in the drawer I think still in packs. I just did the elbow test myself, but pretty quickly you get to know how much hot to put into the cold to get right temp! From about 8 months DD was fine getting into normal temp bath water. As I would try to have a bath but she is a water baby and she would want to get in with me and I got fed up of having lukewarm baths!

ETA: I will try and search them out and if I can find them then don't mind magicking them to someone! Will re-post when I track them down

Oh no Redstar! Hope it clears up soon and as for falling over, not very nice at all x I've picked up a cold bug that's been going around atm...just a stuffy nose and feeling a bit 'bleugh'. Dose up on the multi vitamins i say,lol
