  • What is it with maternity ranges within my budget all stopping at size 18!!
Do heavier women not have babies? Do we not need the stretchy pants (in the voice of nacho libre!)!!
Other than Simply Be, does anyone know where i could get plus size maternity clothing? Even Evans dont do a range!
    Help needed ladies! lol

  • Morning all, hope we are doing okay.
Just got back from my 16 week appointment. Have protein in my urine so off to doctors to drop a sample off. My OH and his Dad have started working on our kitchen. It's basically been gutted and getting redone, what a nightmare! I hate mess!!. Just trying to keep me and the animals out of the way and wishing for it all to be over.

Labour vibes for you nikkit, sounds like your having a time of it. I hope things kick off or you get a bit of a rest from it.

    Congrats DurhamGirl! :D

    Good morning/afternoon everyone :D

As I am now 37 + 1 I am hooked up to my tens machine trying to get some relief from spd- its not really working from a pain relief point of view but feels kind of nice :) Was well worth the money as it feels like a massage :D

Not a lot else going on here- feeling sick, but that may be because of the double sausage and egg mcmuffin I had for breakfast (no cheese).

Nearly time for lunch :T Life seems to revolve around food :p

My sil brought round a box of toys for bubs yesterday- I keep getting them out to look at them- I especially like the double sided b&w/colour cloth book.

I finished knitting a nappy wrap yesterday- I have felted it and teddy is now wearing it :) I am now knitting matching leg warmers. I might not be able to nest very well, but I am loving making things.

I can recommend Asda for cloths up to a 22- it is my favourite shop for maternity stuff. Also, I have some non-maternity long tops from places like peacocks and I managed to get some lovely stretchy black trews from Primark for £3.88 in a 22.

A couple more people on the list have been inactive since sept last year which means SJ you are 3rd :eek: and me 5th :eek:, god i remember the day i joined this thread and i was at the botom of the list last june , omg how fast as it come around ?? scary

That's scary!! Exciting though :D I remember joining and being bottom of the list and being mildly annoyed when other people joined and went in above me, for a while I actually went down the list instead of going up and it felt like it would be a lifetime before I was anywhere near the top!

I was getting some pains yesterday but nothing today. Hope things get moving now for you Nikkit (even if it means you queue jump!!)

Congratualtions Durham girl!!! Sticky bean vibes for you! Can't believe the list is up to September already!

I'm having a lazy day today. I have showered and dressed and now Im just chilling with a RLT and watching This Morning!

    Hello :)

Only 31 days left now! Thats a month!:eek:

Gym, i still need to get a changing bag. One i did want was in Avon and it was blue with lighter blue flowers on, but now they dont do it :(

Som, Thanks for that! I was wondering when it was on. Now to set up the V+ to record it :D Also i got my collage to, but im annoyed with the PO. The Postman never rings our doorbell, always just puts the card through, and i live ages away from the sorting office. So i go online for the service that takes it to your local PO for 50p.
I went in y'day with my 50p to collect and they put it upto £1.50! I was like "What?! It said 50p on Saturday when i arranged it" and apparently it only went up from Monday. Luckily OH had a spare £1 on him

So i wont be using that service now, its a similar price to get the bus into town to go to the sorting office and i can do more in town :)

Congrats to Durham_girl, first Sept EDD! :D

Xmas, i do that with paracetomal. When i had a hole in my tooth i broke a small bit off and stuck it in the hole then put my tongue on to dissolve it. Tasted like crap but it worked :D

  • Thanks Nikkit x I used to take 'omeprazole' tablets all the time before I was pregnant as I suffer with heartburn alot. They were great as it completley stopped it but you have to take them eveyday.Since changing doctors I havent been in for it as I don't know if it can be taken whilst pregnant? Is that what the docs have given you?
Thanks Som x He's fine today been snug in the warm :)

    Hi ladies
Has anybody got one of those prenatal heartbeat monitors and are they good?I've just won one from ebay for £4.70.

Maureenjscott-Do you happen to have a mamas&papas outlet nearby. My local had maternity wear on sale from £2 to £12.OH got me my cardigan/coat for £12 last week and they had most sizes.Dotty P's might be worth looking at aswell although I'm not sure about sizes.

    Congrats Durham girl.
