Sonee- of course, if you want to buy stuff for bubs then go ahead, don't let anyone rain on your parade, Some ppl are just real pessamists but if you are happy to buy stuff then go for it
Cafc I haven't had my exemption card yet but went to dentists and have got prescriptions no probs, they just asked me to show it when I have it. (although if you are just registering it maybe worth asking before any treatment) But,saying that, can you not register with a dentist, get an appt to be looked at and get the anti- biotics you'll prob need (sounds like some kind of infection/abcess somewhere)and if you really have to pay the small charge to be looked at because they won't do any treatment straightaway anyway-they'll just book you in another time for that and hopefully your exemption will have come through by then.
Moo- hope DD is much better v soon:)
Got  with DH last night as he scraped the hell out of the wheel arch of my pride and joy ON HIS CAR:eek:
He cleverly parked his car as far over on the drive as he could so that when we came back after being out last night he could drive my car into the very end of the drive so that when he went off to work this morning he wouldn't have to move my car out the way. Anyways as he swung mine into the drive past his he scraped past his and now they're both damaged!!! The ironic thing is we were on our way back from looking at a ppl carrier as bubs means we now need one and had just discussed the p/x.My car WAS immaculate and that was just such a typical thing to happen. You should've heard the names I called him although kids thought it was hilarious:cool: It actually doesn't look too bad today in the light after he spent a couple of hrs last nite trying to buff out the red scarps off the blue paintwork by torchlight!!!:p
Hope Nikki is ok? Anything happening with bubs?
Labour vibes to all the ladies who are wanting them xBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -

CAFC - Agree with Agutka you do need the cert normally as not everyone who is PG is entitled to freebies, but saying that the last time I picked up a prescription they didnt ask for it!
I was never asked to prove anything, but a few months after my maternity certificate expired I got a fine for £85 through the post for avoiding my charges all those months back . Fortunately I still had the card and could send it in to prove I didn't have to pay and got a well deserved 'sorry about that' letter back.:wall:0 -
