  • Hello everyone!
Haven't had a chance to catch up apart from the last page as I've been soooo busy. I hope everyone is okay?

On the dog talk we have 3 dogs and my mum used to breed dogs. Shih tzu's, Lhasa Apso and Pugs. So we are quite a dog crazy family. I definitely agree that dogs are mega hard work if you look after them properly but I love them all dearly. We have a giant house rabbit too, who thinks he is a dog and gets treated like another dog lol. It's going to be hard work when baby comes along but I wouldn't of decided to have a baby if I didn't think we could do it, as I certainly would never get rid of them, they are part of the family as much as anyone else.

Hehe, im not slim. I just take an ok photo lol.
It feels like she has no room, she's so big now when she moves the pressure hurts lol.

Haven't had any kicks to the ribs yet, luckily. But i got kicked the other day and felt a massive twinge in my foof lol!

Hmmm, im joining upto college in sept, but the website doesn't have details of the courses starting this year. Might have to give them a call tomorrow :)

my little man always hurts when he moves / kicks and when he tries to move and hits a nerve it sometimes makes my legs give way. It is because the baby hardly has any room now and its so tight for them tO kick amd move
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • Lol I was walking along today and I kept feeling twinges that felt as if her hand was trying to come out of my girlie bits!:rotfl:It's a odd sensation but a familiar one I remember from dd.Then it occured to me it might be the head popping in and out!:eek:Midwife never turned up and no phonecall etc-well miffed.I know she has priorities like women who are in labour but surely it's just manners to let someone know that they can't make it?Or am I being naive?!:o

I dont think your being naive. I think they should call or have someone if they cant make or are going to be stupidly late ¬¬

Choccy - love your bump pics. I'm 27 weeks also but it's mad how the shapes vary so much....mine is much more rounded (ie big all over lol) instead of a proper neat bump like yours. Will deffo try and get pic done later. My camera is broken so I'm reliant on DH taking one!

yorkgal - I bought my size/slightly bigger maternity jeans thinking I'd easily fill them but they're way too big even now and keep falling down! Really wish I'd gone for the smaller size

Also re prams I have the graco quattro. I tried the quattro and elite in toyrs r us and found the elite to be very light and difficult to control where the quattro felt heavier and sturdier. Obviously the lightness would be a big bonis for some people but I'm heavy handed and think I would be a menace with it :)

I had to tell one of my staff that baby will be a boy today! She's knitted me the cutest little white cardie and booties and as she has some spare pink wool she said she was going to do a pink one just incase! I'd have felt so guilty letting her do a pink one knowing it would never get worn....hopefully I'll get a blue one now tho :j

    Evening ladies

Ive had a much better day today got a few things done and bubs is now asleep yay :-)

EA mine have all hurt me when they move DD and DS1 used to love hooking their feet under my rib cage had a few people wonder if i was going into labour as it would double me up when they got me good. DS2 liked to well it felt like he was grabbing my foof and pulling it to be honest and that could be painfull sometimes depending on how playfull he was feeling most of the time though it just felt weird :-)

Twinkles sorry to hear your MW let you down mine would at least send a text to me if she couldnt make an appoinment :-)
