Im not registered with any dentist here at all, but if this lasts much longer i may have to ring round and see if I can get in anywhere.
Ive got no idea whats causing it, when I first had it weeks ago i thought it was wisdom teeth as it was at the back, and i had some gum skin which looked broken, but now its all through my jaw top and bottom, and in my ear!

Newcastle may proove a bit of a challenge for me to get to as well, I dont drive, have got no money and dh is at work.
    Time for paracetamol now xx

CAFC get on the phone to the dentist and get yourself registered girl!!! Explain you only just moved here, are pg and awaiting your exemption card but really need to see someone as you are in terrible pain and can't sleep becuase of it! I really wouldn't leave it any longer as it doesn't sound like something that will go away on its own (sounds a lot like it is your wisdom teeth)

Kindof that list looks pretty comprehensive to me. I tried to get a new 0% card a little while ago and was refused. Not really surprised as I have a lot of debt in my name, even though it's shared with DH, so my personal debt compared to my income is really high.

I applied for a cashback card through Bank or Ireland - from best cashback article - last week and have had no response at all yet. Is that normal? I have no debt at all as far as banks etc are concerned (all my borrowing has been from my parents :o )
  • Sorry to hear your in so much pain cafcgirl.I'm sure if you ring rd and explain the situation ie emergency, someone should be able to squeeze you in or at the v least supply a contact no or address that cld help.

:mad:I'm so annoyed, midwife was meant to be doing a home visit between 1-2pm today and she still hasn't arrived.Had to get my hubby to go pick up our dd from pre school.I tried ringing her mob no but it didn't work so I had to ring my surgery.Turns out in my notes there's a digit missing from the no she gave me.Got through to her answermachine and left a message.
Plus we've been rushing rd all morning and I was looking forward to a quiet avo with hubby as it's his day off.But he's just agreed to go into work to cover someone so won't finish till 10.30pm:(Quite upset as his last day off was 6 days ago and nxt one isn't till fri now-so that's 9 days!

EA - just a quickie, your car seat is a "rock a tot" if you google that you should be able to down load a PDF file with instructions. If not let me know and I'll order you some via work :D

I have the instructions now thanks :D I found the PDF file. But i cant seem to put the hood on now, i must force my dad round to fix it :p

Kindof - I took ovulation sticks on holiday with me cause we were ttc lol.
Also, nice list! I cant take my DS charger as we're not allowed to plug things in. So in the early stages i might charge it lol.

Argos have a cheapy towel set for like £4.99 which im buying to take. Its from their value range :D

And good job on the cc! I need to move my balance, i might go to the virgin one. But my credit rating is crap since i've forgotten to pay my cc once and my mothercard twice! lol. Pregnancy brain... :p

Hmm, well im slightly annoyed. I joined upto bizziebaby, I paid the £5 a year fee, and hoped to get some baby items, and they email me for a t-shirt for OH to review! A t-shirt, and OH!!:rollseyes::rotfl::rotfl::o

Don't know, sorry. I would think each bank has its own timescales etc. Have you tried phoning customer services to ask for an update on your application?

I had this twice, not turning up when promised. It's really annoying.

Oooh it's started snowing here. Been raining all morning so hopefully will be too wet to settle anywhere. Don't need the extra worry of whether MW will be able to get to me cos of snow if I go into labour!

Agutka - Did you get the yoga pants from Peacocks?

I hope not! They won't expect me to do Yoga will they? lol
They are like jogging pants with the blessed over the bump band - it was soooo nice to go for a walk yesterday and not have to pull the darned things up all the time. And they kept the 2C cold out for some reason...

SJ no idea on the car seat but I have a M&Ps car seat in the loft with instructions, will dig them out - maybe it'll be the same?

CAFC if I were you I'd ring round local dentists and try to get seen as an emergency, nothing worse than toothache :( Have you got clove oil? Not sure if it's ok in preg or not but I used it the other week when mine were killing.

EA is the tshirt in some way baby related?!? How random!!

Kindof your list looks good, I'll have to nick it when I eventually sort out my bag! Babies bag is so tiny, and only half full, will have to take some of your ideas there too :rotfl:

I've just made a start on cleaning our spare bedroom and have unearthed loads of clothes I thought had just disappeared off the face of the earth under the bed and in the boiler cupboard, oh and I found a whole pile of bedding that doesn't fit any of our beds?! I seriously need to kick this hoarding urge!!

eta: SJs post made me look out of the window, snowing here too :( I wish it could be summer!
