I received my first item of maternity clothing on Saturday that I won off eBay. They were jeans in my normal size but were MASSIVE!!! the over-the-bump part was round my ar*e!?!?!?!

So do I go for the next size down and theyll do me til the end or could I end up going up a size anyway??? Im going to have to get some jeans/trousers at the weekend as mine are getting a bit tight!!!

Does anyone have an opinion on Graco Elite Travel System in Lemongrass which we have seen in BabiesRUs and are pretty keen on??
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D
  • Ebay is great for finding great kids cloths and outfits.

I've picked up a couple of really cute jumpsuits and dresses for my upcoming daughter.

How far gone are you? That sounds a bit too big tbh! Mine are still a little loose, I'm 21 wks now. The overbump part is stretchy so smaller size might be better for you. I had a Graco travel system for dd and had no problems with it, but not sure on that model :)

I'd get the smaller size in that case!! Especially if they're not fitting well on the rest of your body.

Ladies, I just thought this breastfeeding summary might interest some of you - very plain and simple :)

    Hope you're all well!

Edit: a lot of my maternity pants seemed enormous at first, so I used a belly band till 26 weeks and then the mat pants fit well. HTH?

Step sis is still out of it but is improving so things are looking up for her, rents home tomorrow so will prob find out a lil more once they have been to see her.

BTW anyone else been watching Glee?

Yeah I prob should, I will mention it to MW today when I go to see her.

I am chuffed as well financially this morning, managed to get myself a 0% Asda CC for 12 months which will take half of our CC debt applied OH for a virgin card but we have to wait and see in the post if he has been accpeted, hopefully he will have then we will have another year of paying no interest on cc's

    Morning (afternoon even, whoops!),

    Hope everyone is ok?

Som pleased to hear your sis is doing better :) Hope breastfeeding workshop is good & yay for last day at work! I watched the first episode of Glee when I was at the dentist (bizarrely enough!), but haven't watched any more though I think it's series linked so might well watch it in one go :D

Lovely bump choccie, I think you're bigger than me!

Yorky I dunno about maternity pants as I still wear normal ones, but I use a bump band to keep my unbuttoned jeans up which might do the trick til you grow into them? Or maybe get some underbump ones?

Ooh CAFC you've got me drooling, I want pitta and feta and olives with houmous and tzatsiki (sp?) yum yum

WOW EA that video is ace! I've tried filming mine loads but everytime I start he stops moving, grrr

Kindof I think your bump looks fuller now, not so much bigger iykwim?

Gill I don't know how you're managing to keep it secret! OHs sis knew she was having a girl but her dad didn't want to know so we had to pretend, I let slip sooo many times but they pretended they didn't know anyway!! With us they just said we might aswell tell them as I'll no doubt let it out by accident :D

Talk of looking young with babies reminds me, my sister is almost 14 years younger than me, and once I was out with my older brother & sister when she was a baby and some old woman had a go at us! My brother turned round and asked her if she thought incest was common, because that would be his concern over us having had a baby young, she soon shut up :rotfl: The thing is, we all look identical, so it should've been quite obvious we were brother & sister?!

Agutka hope Joseph is a good boy for you today, sounds like you did well ignoring the behaviour. I always feel so bad for harassed mums in shops when you see people staring :o

Hassle I have a cat net, no idea what brand it is as my dad bought it, and no idea if it's any good, but would've thought they're all much of a likeness?

Lots of labour vibes for Nikkit & SJ :)

I feel a real lazy bones today, barely moved from bed :o Managed to get loads of cleaning done yesterday and am exhausted now, need to go to the shop for milk & loo roll & want to make some fishcakes with the abundance of salmon I found in the freezer, but just can't motivate myself. I think my bump has disappeared too, I've just looked in the mirror & it's shrunk! Will take a pic once the battery's are charged :D

eta: Kindof brilliant news on the credit card :D
