Err...I've no idea Kindof?! I know I have a card, and inside the card there's a little card, and there's a USB adaptor for the whole thing that goes into the computer?! Just emailed my bro to ask for a breakdown of what to do!!

Redstar I think midwives/doctors don't help with making mums feel bad - right at the start when I was like 9 weeks, I got a rollocking from a midwife for saying I didn't plan to BF, really made me angry as it wasn't out of choice at that point. Don't feel guilty or ashamed, baby will inevitably be happier with a happy mum, not just cos he/she is breastfed :)

I've just eaten chocolate biscuits for breakfast - oops!

Thanks Gymfiend, that's pretty much the reason I made the decision, I just feel that it can't do the baby any good, me getting all worked up and upset all the time - the way I was last time.

Pleased I'm not the only one who slipped up with breakfast today! Usually I'm pretty good and have Weetabix (have to be, DD eats with me!), but I'm off today (meant to be a quiet day before working extra this weekend, but instead I have to go look around more schools) and I've dropped DD at nursery, come home and had a fruit cocktail trifle and a milky bar for breakfast - don't know how that happened!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Ohhh cool so you can attatch the USB adaptor to comp using the USB slot.

If you plug all that it then your computer should bring up a box you know like a pop up box and you would choose the option open folder to view files?

That is where your games are kept.

Then you go to a website where you can get roms from and you dl then and place them in that folder?

Does that make sense?

Wow, GF what a@*es that is just so rude, does OH say anything or bite his lip? I suppose if they're not local it's sometimes easier to bite your lip and hope you don't have to see them too often.Still it'd take a lot to hold me back I think.

OMG This morning has a lady who is describing the WORST HB she had with a private MW...so scary:eek:

Choccy I think I read about that woman in the paper a few days ago, awful
OH never says anything to them, they're all scared of their step dad as he's a bully, I'm not scared of him and I tell him what I think, which is what leads to the arguments between me & OH! Thankfully they live abroad most of the year though they're apparently moving back next year, think I might move abroad when they do!! I'm going to teach baby to call them his 'other grandma and other grandad', so they can learn just how unimportant they are :D Ooh I am mean!

Yay for finding out which team you're on 1more :j:j:j

It does thank u Kindof, just trying to download now, fingers crossed I don't mess it up!!

Glad I'm not the only one having had rubbish for breakfast, might go get a Kit Kat in a mo :D

Morning peeps. I dont think orange juice last thing at night agrees with me _pale_

On the subject of breast v bottle, I remember at my booking-in appointment the midwife only mentioned about breast and saying how much better it is for baby and mother. I wouldnt mind trying it myself but have read conflicting things about when you can express, one article said you cant/shouldnt express for 6wks and others say you can before that. If I cant express for 6wks I might give the BF a miss as I dont think Id be bale to 'cope' on minimal sleep and doing all the feeds round the clock, plus I want OH to be able to feed his baby as it seems a bit unfair I want him involved with every aspect as he does as well. I did buy a manual breast pump from Asda for £10 so might give it a whirl.

Its all a bit confusing what to do especially with sleep/feeding
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D
• With regards to BF I totally agree that everyone needs to do exactly what makes them comfortable/happy cos that is all that matters- ignore some of the old skool MW that are out there! One thing I would say though is esp if you're in the 'I would like to but feel a bit weird' camp then just keep an open mind until the time comes, you don't HAVE to make your mind up now but when I was pg with dd1 at 18 I thought I would just feel too weird to BF but after having numerous ppl examine and poke you and the whole process of labour/birth etc getting your boob out and feeding the baby is really not that strange after you've done that IMHO I didn't get much choice the 1st time round I'd had an epidural, couldn't feel a great deal and MW just got my boob out and stuck baby on:o
Plus the surreal bonding process that birth has on you and DH really changes any insecurities you may have about your body lol:D

• Yorkygal you can BF if you wanted to and give the odd bottle of formula if you wanted OH to do a night feed etc, I'm sure I was told that once my milk had come in and had a bit of a routine it was ok to express- I did after about a week or so. On thinking..It is poss to express from birth cos it's encouraged for prems or babies in special care ??? x
