Yeah I only started running in June, then found I was pg early Oct when the 10K was booked. I was fine but didn't do a thing afterwards until a few weeks ago when I got the dvd. I was just too tired! I'm definitely thinking of getting back into running after baby is born, well maybe not straight away lol.
    :heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:
  • I was trying to get into running when I got pg, then I freaked out and stopped!! I did the Race For Life in Bradford in May last year. Planning on doing the Leeds one this year with pram, walking though, not running.

I did the Skipton Race for Life last June - pretty much the last time I was at all fit! Was gonna do it again this year, but obviously not now... Think the Leeds one is quite hilly, but then they all are around here!
  • Yeah the Leeds one is quite hilly actually, I might stick to Bradford as that is slightly flatter and all on proper paths.

I went to a couple of yoga pg classes and enjoyed them but then I missed quite a few weeks with them being closed for 2 weeks at the end of summer, me getting married, and being on honeymoon, and the 6 session course I had paid for then "expired" so I lost 4 sessions and I didn't appreciate that so I never went back.

It was Harewood House I did, very hilly!! But I was training on hills anyway so wasn't too stressful :D Flipping Yorkshire!!
    :heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:
  • Yeah I did that (walked it) in 2008, then ran Bradford in 2009. Was planning on running again this year but prob won't be able to get myself fit enough again so soon after baby comes! Really wanted to try and do it again to beat my time though!

Saz - that Davina DVD sounds good could do with something like that. Did do pg yoga for a short while and was really good but runs in 6 week courses so bit of a pain this late to comit to a course. Still going to aquanatel tho, and that is so good, def my fave.

CAFC - think I'll look into something for Valentines day first and make something for that, maybe something from bumpette too :D Gave him a keyring with a scan of baby girl for Xmas and it was his cheapest but favorite pressie :D Will probably buy him something for Birthday, at least with work finnishing Tue I'll have time to mooch around the shops.

Well 2nd cup of RLT on the go and then bed. Tried to do a soduko puzzle earlier but was too fidgety to concentrate lol.

Ooh CAFCGirl, I forgot to say!

I'm about to start yogacise classes which are just for pregnant ladies. Sound really good and supposed to build up your stamina and breathing/thinking techniques for birth and beyond.

I cant seem to find much online for antenatal yoga classes nearby, nor instructions so i can do it at home....

Its one thing I thought i'd really to have a go at:(

  • We've said no Valentine's presents this year, with EDD being the 16th I thought it was sensible . I have said that I want a card though!

I might go to bed soon too. Feeling quite tired after a second day fo being out and about and walking around. DH and his friend are watching boy stuff on tv too.

When we're moved (god everything is gonna happen when we're moved lol) Im going to have more space to be able to get back to doing some creative stuff.

Im making canvasses for Little L's room, rather than painting onto walls (as its rented), and ive got an idea for a canvass for DH but Im going to need to do some practice work beforehand... need to get sketching really...
