CAFCgirl- I am exactly the same with my sleeping. Going to sleep about midnight or just after and then only getting my best sleep between about 7am until about 11 or 12ish. I never used to be able to sleep in past half 9 but I seem to find it impossible to get up nowadays.
Saz- Lovely scan pic, I seriously can't wait for my 20 week scan! Though I've got an extra week to to wait as I'll be nearly 21 weeks when I have mine.0 -
do you work ymake?
I think in a way thats whats making it worse for me. I've got into habit of going to bed late, and then i dont have anything to get up for, so can just sleep as long as I like...
And then im not doing much during the day so not much exercise to knacker me out to then need to go to sleep any earlier.....
On the subject of exercise... I've read having exercised in pregnancy can help make labour easier, and help your stress levels. I used to run and go to the gym before we moved, but have been out of it for about 3 months and now i cant really find much on any good exercise to do. Any suggestions?????

I used to work from home but since becoming pregnant have stopped so no I don't have work to get up for. But I have a house full of animals and looking after them and keeping on top of the house in itself keeps me busy enough, so I have to get up for them anyway. I think I just sleep better once my OH gets up because I like to have the bed to myself hehe. So when he gets up for work I spread myself out and have a real deep sleep then. Plus I think I'm just trying to get the next 5 years worth of sleep in right now because once bubs arrives that will be the end of that!0

I need my dog back :rotfl:
I had thought last week i was getting that 2nd tri energy surge that all my baby club emails keep telling me about, but I managed one day and that was it.... LOL was wiped out.....
Just spent the afternoon trying to think if deliciously yummy mummy to be goodness to have to eat next week. We need to go food shopping at the weekend and I really REALLY want to start being good :A
Plus food is something that actually really interests me so I've been trying to look at online courses I can do.... it all started because online there is a job vacancy for a fat club leader (hopefully not like little britain) and I think that'd be something really good to do but I wont applyWealth is not measured by currency0 -
sorry just popping on to say to those towards the end: don't lose hope that you'll still go "on time" or even a bit early. I had almost no signs before Finn was born - and he was born in 5.5 hrs, 1 day early!
I also didn't have leaky boobs and very very few Braxton Hicks. So try not to worry too much!

It was my 34+1 appointment today and it didnt go smoothly
Aww Kindof sorry to hear about your appointment and that you didn't sleep well last night. I agrfee with everyone els eyou should definitely finish a week early. Your boss will just have to manage without you! ANd i'd take sick leave too if you get paid for it - it is afterall becasue of your health.
ANd babies can tuen at ny point. Sometimes they are the right way round and turn at the last minute - so you really don't know what will happen in labour til you get there.
Really ought to get out of bed now but just can't face it, nothing exciting to do today til antenatal this evening then out for dinner for MIL's birthday, is it awful to be dreading it? Can't bear the thought of being stuck in a restaurant for hours while feeling like this!
Sorry you're not feeling too good still. Hope MIL's birthday isn't too painful. Oh and I'm jealous that you are 2/5 engaged - I'm only 1/5!!Bubs was born at 10.25am yesterday, 6lb1oz and a dream baby so far, We got home last night (6hr discharge:T) will post more later and catch up on the PC,

kindof - how did you get on with your boss?Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Congratulations 32b!
Kindof- I just saw your post about your MW apt and wanted to say that I had high BP and protein in my urine for a while late on in my pg, but it came to nothing so it's not necessarily anything to worry about. Also swelling of hands and feet can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia so worth looking out for that as well (although it can be a perfectly normal part of pg too so it's very hard to tell).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
has anyone had any xperience of companies who make finger print charms?
I saw a thread about it on baby&bump, and thought it looked really sweet thing to do after baby is born. My charm bracelet only currently has two charms.
Ones a marcasite 4 leaf clover for luck (when ttc) and the other is a gingerbread man (which was what we were going to decorate nursery in for first pregnancy)...
So I have my charm and a tattoo to mark his appearence in our lives, and thought one of these charms would be a nice idea, but just wondering if anyone has had any xperience/recommendations?Wealth is not measured by currency0
