Hi everyone, hope you're all alright?
Haven't had a chance to read back yet (and probably won't be able to til tonight when I get home) but thought I would pop in and say 'hi'. Off to see the midwife this afternoon for my 28 week check-up, so trying to remember everything I wanted to ask her...

Just had really uncomfortable chat with a work colleague - she's not a particularly close friend but have worked together for about 4 years now - since I came back from having dd

She came over to congratulate me - news is taking a while to travel at mo coz out office has grown HUGE lol and I just felt really bad, coz she's going through a divorce and I know she was trying to have a baby throughout the marriage and just couldn't hold on to it when she managed to conceive. Is that really stupid? I feel so guilty when I talk to people who don't have kids and I know they want them because it's been so easy for me - both times has been within the 1st month of coming off pill and trying.

Kindof...i dont think we are going to find out but we still might change our minds. My OH is happy to know but i keep flitting from wanting to know then not!!

Cafc....keep your chin up hun...i am finding it all quite daunting too but am sure that everything is going to fall into place. You seem to be feeling loads more than me...cant wait till OH can feel bubs moving.

Jopsey...sorry to hear about the loss of your dog...i hate it when pets die no matter how old they are. I get sooo attached to all of them including my chickens!!

Sarah joanne...what a fab nursery. You have done a great job. we are planning on keeping ours very neutral but i might get carried away in a few months!

Ea...enjoy your facial and massage. I love having massages and facials but dont have them as often as i would like.

Well still feeling sick here. Have eaten lots of toast for the carbs fix today which seems to have eased things but last night i couldnt face anything apart from mint vinetta!!

Think i am going to nip out shortly to see if i can get a maternity bra. All of mine are now getting unconfortable as i am popping out of them

Do nursing bras do the same thing as a maternity bra for support etc as i didnt know if it would be a good idea just to buy nursing bras instead? Any advice appreciated.

Nursing bras are as supportive, how far are you? I'm currently 21 weeks, and using my nursing bras from dd but very scared how big I'm going to end up being lol as they were fitted around 35 weeks - at this stage I was only a 36a, they are 36d and were too small when I first came out of hospital :eek:

wouldn't mind if I was bigger but I dropped back down to my normal size 8 within a few weeks lol with huge boobs!

Whoop whoop success!!!!:beer: DD is asleep on the sofa after a very trying morning.Can't blame her really as she's poorly,but she's been high on her meds barely stopped chattering and has been whingy and grumpy too-so much so I now have a headache!But the little munchkin is asleep now after I forced her onto the sofa for some 'quiet time' Excuse me while I do a celebration dance!:j

I'm having a right ole' day of it Fed up atm
Electric and gas just cut of this morning and only just started up again...gagging for a cuppa.
Then opened up the washing machine to find my sons lunch bag shredded in the machine caking the rest of the wash in black threads, all twisted up Can't even get out now as the buses have stopped for the main shopping town,so I have no lunch bag for lil man 2moz and OH mobile batteries died on him. Oh I feel like crying...my emotions are madness....sorry x

Jopsey - Sorry to hear about your dog. We have 3 dogs and they are everything to me so I know what a terrible loss it can be.

SJ- Love your nursery, it looks so warm and lovely.

Supersaver- Sounds like your having a right ole day of it, that's for sure! Do what I would do and have a big bar of chocolate to lift your spirits

Mermaid....you are slightly ahead of me. I am 20+2 currently and i am falling out of a 36d! Like you i am slightly concerned how big i am actually going to get. I had an ann summers bra sent through the post to me today...tis totally gorgeous but not practical for being pregnant. Its a 36d and i look huge in it!! Thanks for the advice on the nursing bras...will go out now and see what i can find.

Supersaver...i agree with ymakesmile on the chocolate front too:o

Twinkles...i think i would ending up having a nap like your daughter. My motivation some days is sub zero and i really have to force myself into doing anything
