Went back to bed for a couple of hours and woke with the most painfull stitch in my side, poor OH heard me groan and one eye shot open and looked at me in shock, had to say NO just a stitch go back to sleep, to which he mumbled what i think was thank god lol

High fishcake was wondering where you had been hiding, you've been quiet for the past few days, I finally managed to get the Xbox going, Plug and Play my A@SE. Sorry the SM's are painfull they can be a bit sensitive, i've got a cracking one right threw my C/S scar and it is so annoying feels like someone else's(sp?) skin.

SS I think i missed say hi to you so Hello and Congratulations,

SOM eventually the little one will move and you can pee and it releases some of the pressure/discomfort, I sat in the loo for ages after some chocolate (it makes him wriggle) eventually i was able to pee LOADS, think the pain etc was because my bladder was so full but unable to empty fully because of bubs, HTH dog is still funny but i made a big effort yesterday to comfort him with cuddles and i used my feet to rub him as i can't get the pressure to rub him without going on the floor, he likes it rough lol

Planning on taking a cheap blanket (£1) and wrapping baby in it for a few hours then getting OH to bring it home first so they get the smell without the chance of bumping bubs, hoping to time arriving home for feeding time(for the dogs not bubs) that way they will be distracted and calmer when the see him after it.

So jelous of you's that have OH's that can cook, mine can just about manage french toast(8/10 he will trigger smoke alarm) bacon and egg for a sandwich and super noodles(usually with way to much water) he used to make spag bol but i used to hover and point out pots and what to add etc that really all he did was fallow instructions lol

    Morning all,

    Hope everyone is ok?

Welcome and congrats to the newbies :D

EA hope the cramps have gone away?

FR hope the stretchies aren't too irritating? I've noticed my stomach starting to itch which I'm sure is from stretching :(

Som I always think your MIL sounds lovely :D Hope you have a nice day, x Lovely bump too :D v jealous of your lack of stretch marks!!

Tink I think it's honestly perfectly normal to feel the way you do. I was desperate for an early scan but consoled myself with the fact that even if baby was fine at 8 weeks, it could all change by 12, iykwim? I never felt pregnant, not til about 25 weeks to be honest, no sickness, no tiredness, still able to go running etc, which I agree does make it harder to accept/believe. It might be worth talking to the midwife about your fears but I don't know she could do much? I think they'd only refer for an early scan if there was a problem?

Lol EA 5 weeks til full term, scary or what - I keep telling baby he must come on Feb 15th (37 weeks) as I'm fed up of being fat :rotfl:

OHs parents are back in the Uk at the moment and officially doing my head in. Had to visit them last night & his stepdad was making sly digs about me closing my business to take maternity. Basically saying that I shouldn't get too comfortable, I'd better be back in work after a few months, stupid of me not to carry on working etc. Fair enough if I was some sort of scrounger, but I've always worked really hard and made more money than OH, grr. Also had a go at me because he wanted OH to drive his mum to the airport on a Saturday at the end of the month, but we've already got commitments to my family on that day - he basically bollocked me for suggesting OH would want to see my family over taking his mum  Oh & because we have our first antenatal class on his mums birthday - we should miss it apparently! Arrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Ok rant over :) On lovely baby news we got some gorgeous bits from Mothercare yesterday - some babygrows with elephants on, a Superman babygrow & a changing mat :D I can't wait til he arrives now, I'm dying to see what he looks like :o
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

No your not mad just pregnant, i know just how you feel i have had two miscarriages the last one in november, now i'm pregnant again & should be thrilled but can't seem to allow myself to be excited, tell your midwife i'm sure they've heard it all before! good luck:p
& have you been on the less than 12 weeks thread?:p

Thanks 3 just have no idea how he we will react to baby he is generally. He quite good with children we meet when out and about and understands instinctivley that he has to be gentle, but not sure how he'll be with a newborn in his own home, tho over tho years we have moved and had other changes that he has adapted too. At the mo need to think about moving his bed as its between me and the cot in the bedroom so not the best place. Our house is tiny tho so not sure where to put it, maybe the landing, but like I said before I dont think he'll use it just probably stay on the floor in the bedroom. I can see us having to get a baby gate for the bedroom maybe.

    morning all ,

welcome supersaver and kt1985 , have updated above edd list fro you guys,

32b, i have had similar problem this morning , with wetness, have a pad on at mo as im not sure if i am leaking slighhtly , this happened with DS2 , my back waters slowly leaked but they let me carry on for a further 1 week before inducing me , but i was 9 days over so was understanable , but then DS2 had a infection due to the waters going ( there words) so why the hell they didnt start me earlier , anyhow, just keeping eye on things this morning as it doesnt smell like wee either ,
EA hope you are feeling ok this morning

We've got a dog gate but they can get over it,lol but usually they only do that if they hear something that makes them want to investigate like OH wrestling with DS they will jump the gate to protect DS etc, but if we tell them to wait behind the gate they will. was planning on just a standard gate for the bedroom just to create the barrier when bubs is in bed, would shut the door bug the big fella rams them open.

Only problem we've had with kids and babies is them wanting their teddies etc, once in the summer when it was a scorching day the big fella stole an ice lolly of a toddler in a pram as his mum pushed him by, Thank godness she seen the funny side of him trying to give it back when i said it was bad, thats when we discovered his love of slush puppies, blue is his favorite lol

Ok i think bubs is definitely in position for birth, feel like every movement he makes he could just fall out. like their isn't enough down their holding him in, it's so weird. I hope after all this discomfort i don't go over:D

Nikkit don't know how to put it but i hope you are just having a weak bladder today and it's not your water, sending non leaking vibes to you.

lol can't beleive i'm wishing someone was peeing lol lol

Phew, that's a relief - I don't think I could take another 13 weeks of days like today! I don't mind my nesting instinct kicking in for a short while, but I would be afraid of turning into a Stepford wife - too far removed from normality for me!

Me and OH just tidied the house for like 2 hours this morning (we sound like right messy !!!!!!s dont we lol) so I am wiped now, now OH is bored lol
