Cant sleep! :( I 'm tired but just cant get comfy and keep waking every 20 min or so, I'm hot and have a very wriggly baby too which I dont think is helping lol. Dog is keeping me company atm, think he is confused tho hehe.

SJ - was me who just got me Hipg, I sent it on NOv 25th and had a letter on Dec 15 to say had been awarded and would be paid in 7 days, but due to a !!!! up from me (I put down my bank details wrong!) and taking ages to get hold of HMRC over Xmas only just got it sorted. So I'd say about 3/4 weeks atm.

CAFC - thats such a cute post, but I know what you mean. Even now at 32 weeks OH cant feel all baby girls movements still, tho he isnt the most patient when it comes to sitting with his hand on my tummy.

Saz - Welcome and Congrats, and yeay for 20 week scan :) will you be finding out bubs flavour?

Morning everyone, Welcome sazM and congratulations And any others that have joined that pg brain has blanked:rolleyes:

    Skip next paragraph if eating....
I've been up about an hour, woke with what can be described as jet lag lol just couldn't get back to sleep so i decided to get up. Glad i did had no sooner got settled on the couch with cuppa in one hand and remote in the other when DD shot up the hall opened the bathroom door and proceeded to projectile vomit all over the floor and bath, Lovely. So at-least it has been a productive morning bathroom has now been bleached lol

Was joking with OH last night about wither or not their will still be snow when bubs arrives, going by the weather reports at the moment we said yes.

Meant to say loved the pump pic SJ,

I know I won't get back to sleep, so choice for me is between sitting reading threads that have nothing to do with me or cutting up fleece to make liners for my reusable nappies...
    I might just have a cuppa too:beer:

KT i just gave my nappies another wash in prep for bubs coming, With DD and DS mum bought me Terries for emergencies (like current weather) but i barely used them, they were mostly used for burp cloths and stopping DS from doing a fountain at changes:rotfl: but i had no problems on the occasions i did use them so i decided to take the jump and get a set of cotton bottom's, £50 for the set that will last up to potty training, all i need is the last size wraps. Plus i'm in a flat and my neighbors seem to like filling up my bin so the thought of bags being torn open by the birds when their full of dirty nappies makes me gag lol

I have a variety, but mainly fuzzi buns (were given to us by sil:money:) but also have some terries, some fitted ones I made using the sewing machine and other odd ones from a trial pack. I have cotton bottoms wraps though small and medium- haven't seen large ones

The ones I like most are the ones that I made, but goodness knows if they will be any good, I guess I will find out soon though.

I really dislike disposables, I don't know why, but they make me gag... I think that cloth nappies are fab- don't know whether I will be saying that in the hospital with a 3 hour old baby though

I'm planning on using disposables at the hospital and the first couple of days at home for the sticky poo's , Got them as freebies etc so:money: then i need to get OH on board with washables as his family are a bit weird and think disposables are the only way to go.

SIL actually asked me if money was really so tight i had to lower myself to using washables, and i should think of my other 2, i really don't think she realizes how expensive disposables are or how easy modern washables are to take care off, and they are sooooooooo cute.

Tempted to make a money pot and put in what i would have spent on disposables and wipes etc into it and then rubbing her nose in it by buying something for the kids, or paying for a holiday:D OK the devil in me is showing lol

Bubs is playing with my bladder again i can't stop running to the loo but when i get their drip drip:mad: 2 min later i'm up and off again and drip drip:mad:

I haven't had much resistance from family re washable nappies- my sister has done it with her two (and will with the next one) and my sil used them with her two up to a point (think they are in sposies now). It is interesting though when I talk to friends, I have had a couple turn around and say the money thing, but have decided it is because they don't know any better than terry squares tied up with pins and plastic pants.

I want to do reusable in hospital, I also want to be on an asap discharge, both of which may or may not happen :o

We are also doing reusable wipes because can't see any reason not to if we are going to do the nappies full time- bought the baby wash cloths from the pound shop and they are perfect, right size and nice and soft. I will use them in a lock and lock box.

My dh is all for reusables- just needs to learn which bits work with which nappy system.

Right- off to grab a bowl of cheerios- my current favourite food :D
