Phew, that's a relief - I don't think I could take another 13 weeks of days like today! I don't mind my nesting instinct kicking in for a short while, but I would be afraid of turning into a Stepford wife - too far removed from normality for me!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Thanks ladies!
So I have a really sore bit, about an inch round, on the top of my bump, almost right under my boob. It feels bruised and it's weird cos I haven't banged it or anything. Anyone got any ideas??0 -

Sorry couldn't resist lol Could be caused by everything being squished up top now, i get really uncomfortable under my chest, and end up having to curve myself back wards or going down onto all fours for some relief, and it could be trapped wind heard it can be really uncomfortable as everything is out of place, have you drank allot of fizzy juice?[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Ha ha 3, no, there's no baby lump under it, it feels like my muscle is bruised! Don;t drink fizzy drinks and it definitely bruised feeling rather than heartburn.
Maybe I'm just all squished up!!0 -
oh i think i've experienced what you mean, the other day i had been sitting funny cos OH stole my lumbar pillow so i was leaned forward onto bump when sitting down, then later that night i felt like a strap was across bump and was tender to the touch, i blamed my distorted ribs for rubbing me internally IYGWIM.
guess its something else to ask the MW,
was it you that just got your HipG, when did you put in for it? if it was you lol[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

evening all
this is a really sad post as in pathetic but im a bit giddy with it all really...
DH had his fingers in my waistband earlier. no funny business, i was complaining they were tight so he was relieving some pressure, and I could feel baby kicking closer and closer to his fingers.
Asked DH if he could feel it, and he said No, so I said oh ok, coz hes right there, should feel like a buble pop and then Little L gave a good kick right under DH finger and HE FELT IT!!!!
And then DH had the biggest grin ever and was all chuffed with himself (he's been pants at feeling it so far).......
And now Im all chuffed because I just feel like its now starting to become the both of us expecting a baby, and it not just being something thats happening to me......Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
aww nice post. It must be great for the fella to actually be able to feel something. I always wonder if blokes feel a bit left out in the early stages of pregnancy. Their work is done..so to speak!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0

I dont think my hubby has felt left out as such, but I know he's felt pretty helpless at times because theres been nothing he can do.
Plus i think he was struggling a little with the connection to baby because we lost our 1st, so in a way he was scared to get attached, and he wasnt at either of my scans which made it harder for him.....
this i think has just made him feel like the baby is ours, not just mine.... plus we had a nice chat about things that we hoped our baby would be when hes grown up :rotfl:Wealth is not measured by currency0
