LOL KT I've got the wipes from the pound shop too:money:
I think with your first they will keep you in atleast one night not sure as i was a EC/S with DD, Have heard allot of hospitals don't mind you using washables some even wash them for you(that may be @@@@ person that told me is notorious for talking mince lol) My hospital aren't interested MW had a look of horror when i asked about using them when in lol

Jopsey, their are loads of help full sites out their and even you tube has video demos of how to fold terries and use folding and all in ones. google the nappylady and it should help or try the sticky for saving money on nappies it has some info on their too. Any questions just ask,

    http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/

Keep an eye on ebay too that's where i got mine, searched for a good few weeks till i eventually found some that i could collect saving £25 on delivery alone as they can be quite heavy dependent on what you choose,

Practice on a doll, I have been showing DD(12) and DS(9) how to do it in case i need help anytime, so we used an old doll of DD's that way you can see how best to fold them and get used to fastening them/positioning etc. you can get disposable liners now so DP can't block your loo, lol

This is the nappies i have got http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKDK8-HqNLw&feature=related but i fold it different, theirs a boy fold and a girl fold for them, scroll down the bar at the side and their is a few examples of nappies and folds.

Thank you for the lovely welcome, such a friendly thread x
Didn't sleep very well last night, can't seem to get comfy as I'm used to sleeping on my tummy and haven't been in this pregnancy.
20 weeks today and I'm so excited that tuesday's nearly here!!! Think I will find out the sex. Thank you for the info on the terries nappies, will have a look at the info as I stuck with disposibles with my first and it did work out very expensive.

Morning again :D Well was up for about an hour and a half before heading back to bed, still pretty disturbed sleel mainly due to OH this time but I did get some more so am grateful for that.

3 - am having the same bladder issue, cant be a urine infection cos it doesnt burn iykwim, its just pressure and is worse when I roll over in bed or stand up lol. tis a pain tho. How is your dog doing is he still beeing funny? Did you have him when you had you previous babies? Am wondering if you have any tips for when we bring bubs home so ours isnt jelous. OH Wants to buy a toy to give to him for when bubs comes out of hospital.

KT - welcome, am dead impressed you made your own nappies, hope they work well for you x

FR - Aww sorry to hear your SMs are hurting I didnt realise they did, so far have avoided them and hope to stay that way (touch wood) tho have run out of bio oil and trying to avoid buying more, have been using cocoa butter for past week or so as got lots of freebies at Baby Show.

SS - I used to sleep on my tummy too, its awful isnt it? Do you have a long pillow? I got one of those and found it really helps, I couldnt sleep at all now if I didnt have it.

Right well hoping to get a few things done today, want to go to B&Q and order a new rug for our living room (landlords are paying as they wont recarpet due to dog), can spend up to £150 so should get something quite nice for that. Hoping to pop to Asda OH says its pet week there and secretley hoping there might be some sale bargains left ( Really want a snow suit for LO for next year, so if this weather happens again will be prepared). Then hoping to pop to MIL and show here the Xmas stuff from Very so that I can then put it away and de clutter the bedroom. OH forgot to take the joint out of the freezer yesterday, so no roast today, but think he is gonna do gammon and eggs so not all bad (except for the rubber eggs!)

I have one of those V pillows to sleep with but it just doesn't do the trick. I find myself gradually turning to lay on my tummy then soon wake. Don't have a long pillow though. Thanks for the info :)
Hope you find a nice rug for your place today.Asda will be having their baby event soon, think its next saturday!? Well I'm off to the shops, in need of a clothes fold up dryer. Been cluttering up the rads and the house is freezing, oops! Just started snowing here though, must dash :) xx

Yeh they can get painfull :( Towards the end of my first pregnancy my tummy was v.sore from them. I used to use normal baby oil...cheap and just as good as some expensive brands. Plus I used to use it in the shower too for extra softness on bump :) htm xx

    Morning Ladies

Feel like I am going mad :o

DH is against having the private scan he is worried that because I am so stressed about loosing bean that just because I have a scan now donesn't make my fears go away. I think that if i felt PG it would be easier to accept that I am .....If that makes sense??? I have my first MW appoint on Friday I will be 8 weeks then....Would i be right in telling her about my feeling or will she think I am mad????:o

I feel totally stupid I want this bean so much and I have waited 12 years to meet my sould mate to be able to have another child and just feel like a freak.

    Sorry ladies :A
If you can think it........it will happen

Aww tink thas harsh hun, but he does have a point too. I can totally sympathise tho having waited 6 years to get PG, but due to IVF we had scans at 6 and 8 weeks and they did put our mind at rest so its hard to say if you'll still worry after.

Just ordered this from JoJo figure its not a waste as I'll be able to wear it after too :D also ordered a pink laundry bag for £3 was 12 :D
