I got a letter from my GP and they then phoned me up to chase the swine flu jab a fortnight later; they must have targets to hit!

I haven't had a jab invite yet though my surgery says to ask at reception about it and that no invites will be sent out. Maybe yours operates the same way?

Hello everyone  Hope your bumps are all behaving :D

    :jHuge congratulations to PP:j

Finally got home from hospital yesterday afternoon:j and little orit-rhian is gorgeous:D

Won't be posting a birth story as i developed pre-eclampsia, had a failed induction and ended up with an emergency c/section due to fetal heart problems and maternal factors (e.g we were both in terrible trouble).

What i will say is my goodness the Heath Hospital in cardiff were amazing - when lives are on the line they really work hard - we had top anesthastists and 4 consultants working on my belly to get orit - rhian out - they manage it in 20 mins. So a huge thank you to them:T

Also the epidural was no problem at all and not at all painful and the induction although not pleasent was not as bad as i had envisaged it woul be HTH.

A special hello to three - hope you are ok:D

It will take a few days for me to catch up so untill i can - hugs and vibes to all:D

Morning all, Why am I up at this time??????

I'm 37 weeks today, baby could arrive any time now:eek::eek: Can't figure out if I'm more nervous of Baby coming soon or me going overdue:confused: I'm terrified of getting enduced or having to experiencing OH's driving to the hospital when i go into labor:rotfl:

Swine flu jab, well i got a call from the MW back in Nov but it was in the middle of organizing the funerals etc so she said she would call back to re-arrange but never did, not bothered though as i don't want it anyway but i never told her that.

PP and JHA hope all is well with the babies, how time flies seems like yesterday we were laughing at me for not knowing my dates, now here we are you've got your bundles and I'm on count down.

Anyone heard from maybebaby haven't heard from her in a while, I think i'm at the top of the list now for regular posters:eek: well that's if Gemma's induction has been successful.

Hhhhmmmm can't help but wonder if their will still be snow when i have bubs?

Well I am on the sofa, had a terrible night, OH woke me up at like 1am crying with toothache in his wisdom tooth.

And I could have just cried myself cos he has kept me awake all week (not on purpose) as he has been ill couhging and spluttering and snoring so flipping loud

Is this a good price for a moses baket stand

    http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Nursery/Moses-Baskets-and-Cribs/Rocking-Moses-Basket-Stand-Natural(0011470) £9.99

And would anyone recommend a rocking one

MIL has just been on the phone, they have bought us a reduced moses basket from bainbridges and a fire guard lol (I guess we have all bases covered with the travel cot and moses basket lmao, they mean well lol)

But I would like a stand now, cos now I have both cot and basket, I htink I want beany in the moses basket in the bedroom and the travel cot downstairs until he gets too big for the basket (4 months or so) then I will put the travel cot in the bedroom

Now means I need a moses basket stand, I need to order that matress from mothercare, need some sheets and blankets for the cot, and some sheets for moses basket now

Hi kindofagilr, I can't open that link but that would seem a good price to me - I can't remember where I got my stand from, as it was 8 years ago for DS1, but I managed to get a metal one which also fitted a baby bath into it; it was a godsend as I had a caesarean in the end and couldn't do lots of lifting, etc., so based the moses basket upstairs and travel cot downstairs just like you plan to do.

Hope everyone is managing okay in the snow. I haven't dared go out since I slipped on thursday. DS1 and DS2 school was open yesterday but it would have taken me 4 hours to walk there and back twice; the bus wasn't running, so I kept them at home ... just as well as only 20 kids turned up! Managed to sort out all my clothes that aren't going to fit for quite a while and swap them out with maternity clothes, so I have a wardrobe of stuff that fits!

Have been suffering loads of heartburn lately. the nice thing though is that Bump is starting to respond to stroking and prodding, which has DS1 and DS2 in stitches! And i am still craving turkish delight / cocktail cherries / pickled gherkins ... basically anything but fresh fruit and veggies!!!
