Oooh food talk am shattered and achey after work and really cant be arsed! Brain wont even function to think about it atm, but I am hungry and OH is fast asleep on the sofa. The burga King add on the left is taunting me tho, lol. Well work was a waste of space, had a call from work friend at 8.45 saying not only did we have no heating the power was out and shouldnt bother coming in. Phoned Manager to be told bluntly if I didnt come in I didnt get paid. So made a flask of redbush tea struggled to get my wellies on and off I trudged to work. Think I was having BH for most of the work, either that or lil lady was having a danm good stretch. Managed to stay up right but my back and pelvis were killing me when I got there. The rest of the staff at work couldnt believe Id come in! Anyhoo power was on but still no heating and our tills were out, was told to leave coat on if I wanted to keep warm! Got changed and stood behind the till serving non exsistant customers. A short while later my manager came to me saying I needed to go sit in the staff room (the one place heating was working) to stay safe and warm cos she was worried about me, err hello Ive just done the dangerous bit coming to work over snow and ice when not only am I pg but she knows am suffering with spd! Anyhoo I stayed wrapped up and served the handful of customers we did get, think we had more staff most of the time, finally at 12 some one made a descision we would close at 4, then manager came and made a big fuss of me asking how I would get home, grr! Honestly I only think she showed concern in the end cos the superviser had asked why the h3ll I'd come in. So walked home again but with OH and furr ball for company, now am sore stiff and tired and generally cant be bothered! Anyhoo less of me, at least am home and safe for the weekend nowBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Oh PP he is beautiful, congrats again hun!
If you feel at any point that you need to talk about the birth feel free to PM me. I bottled it up after one of mine was traumatic and ended up with flashbacks and all sorts for months after (though here I am doing it again, hubby says he can't decide if I'm 'hard as nails or a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic'! LOL).:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -

PP - huge congratulations. So please little man is finally here! Love the pics - he's just adorable/
LL - I am so sorry to hear your news. *hugs*
Had a bit of a rough day at work today. Had a lot to do this week to get my shop sorted out and think I overdid it a bit this morning. Was feeling ropey and overdone by 2pm so had to go and sit in the back for an hour. My trousers suddenly got too tight as well so I had to take them off! Luckily was wearing leggings underneath because it was so cold in the shop!
What's everyone's view on mopping? In my risk assessment I was told that I shouldn't do any mopping as the motion pulls your stomach muscles and could be dangerous. I do it at home coz I figure that my kitchen and bathroom are too small to do any damage, plus don't need any heavy duty work. I've totally avoided it at work tho. Because everyone has been coming in with such wet feet we've had to do loads of dry mopping at work (and I mean loads!!) because our floor is tiled and very dangerous when wet. I tried to avoid the worse of it but had to do some, but was feeling really grotty by 2ish and stomach was sore. I mentioned to my asst mgr that I needed to stop mopping and she reacted with horror and said it was ridiculous and shook her head and rolled her eyes. Nice to know my staff are being so supportive, esp when I've just come back from 2 and a half weeks off sick!!!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
