Got our Blu ray player woohoo, tho did spend a lil more than planed cos had to get an HDMI cable and of course a blu ray DVD to watch , but used some more of my Xmas money for that (tho its all gone now). Sipping my first RLT and its yummy brewed as per instructions on box and didnt need to add anything
CAFC - Id be peeved with OHs family not cos of the money, but just the abruptness of the statement. Help doesnt only come in money format. Mmmm to muffins and BK double cheeseburger
Conventgirl - eek about 24 hour monitoring, but probably worth it for peace of mind.
IHF - I'd go to the classes, you have nothing to loose even if you dont make them all.
1more - glad your Mum was ok in the end.
PP - big cuddles hun, remember we're here for moral support and am sure it will all come good in the end x
Gemma - sounds like my kinda evening I love Pizza Express, best of luck for tomorrow hun xxx
Tink - really I think only you can decide if the scan is worth it, all the points made on here are valid. Do whats right for you. Am not gonna preach have had 5 scans, 2 early as we conceived IVF and 2nd to last was private paid for by health insurance.
Well havent gotten too far with the scrapbook, cut out some pics of what we bought from catalogues, printed some pics out and found some cute short poems so its a start..Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

I think I've now fallen out of love with the Greggs sausage roll over the immense disappointment earlier....
Although I've had a hankering for days for a burger king bacon double cheese burger...
This baby is either going to come out wrapped in a layer of lard or with some crazy desire to become a vegetarian
LOL ditto, KFC and McDonalds lol I have just discovered the big tasty nom nom nom
Conventgirl I am pleased you heard the heartbeat, sorry your BP is high

Evening all,
Got hold of the doctors, they wanted to move my appointment from 5pm to 3:40pm.. that was all... lol.
Slipped up in the shower earlier lol. It was really weird, i dont remember how it happened, i heard a noise behind me, then the next thing im sat in the bath with a sore bum and a red elbow.
When i was trying to explain it to OH he panicked and thought i had knocked myself out
Baby is fine though, she didn't move for a little while afterwards but when i got out she gave a little kick.
The walk to the docs was eventful, i was slipping and sliding everywhere :rotfl:
Docs appointment was ok, he gave me heartburn tablets cause gaviscon is simply rubbish
He checked and the baby is head down but not engaged, HB is fine.
I mentioned my constant thirstyness and he said there was no sugar in my urine, but he wants to give me a blood test as it was a bit borderline at start of pregnancy.
Then i asked about bump being measured as i've never been measured, and he measured me, and it came up at 40:eek:
He said thats prob not right, and did it again with great concentration, and guess what...?
Bump is measuring at 38cm:eek:
I thought i was a bit big! lol
So he deffo wants the blood sugar blood test thing done now
I asked him about measuring and said i have never been meAfternoon Ladies
I have found a place in Truro Cornwall ( I am in Exeter Devon) that does Private Scans 2D 3D & 4D
Early Viability Scan
Purpose of the scan: viability scan is for women who want to make sure that all is well during 6 weeks to 12 weeks of their pregnancy.
Early Viability Scan 15 minute appointment time . Includes 2D or 3D images: £49.00
Do any of you think this is a good idea???? I think have no signs or symptons and part of me would like to know that all is ok???
Thanks
I would say go for it.
I had a mmc with my first and had an early scan (thats how i found out) then with this one i had another scan, i had it at 8weeks by my dates, but they put me at 6+5.
Mine was £50 i think.
Also i still panicked until the 12 week scan.
Baby PP - Get a move on!!!0 -
I'm loving the photos! Thank-you for sharing!
There's nothing much up with me; I'm just feeling a bit down and sorry for myself.
Well, I got a delivery earlier - our new travel system! I can't remember who posted the link to the Graco Quattro Tour System from Toys R Us a little while ago, but many, many thanks. We were going to wait until we got the HIPG, but my parents took us by surprise and insisted on paying for a buggy for us. My living room is now dominated by it - and I don't really know where I'm going to store it (hmm, perhaps we could balance the telly on it?).Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

YOu see this is why it is imprtant you are measured, you could be diabetic or something (not trying to scare you)
When are you getting tested then?
Aww Sorry to hear you fell in shower
Redstar it may have been meis it the lemongrass one? we have that
