Tink - I would also say go for it if it's going to put your mind at ease. I had an emergency scan at 8 weeks but I don't know how I would have got through to 12 weeks without, as like you had very few symptoms.
How far along are you again?
Thanks. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow :eek:If you can think it........it will happen0 -
Gill- Lol in a really selfish way I hope I am not too long tomorrow, but have been warned prob won't start labour until Saturday
PP- Hope you beat me into meeting your baby, Sorry your hospital is giving you such rubbish care
Gymfiend- Thanks, still doesn't seem real! Be careful with your arm, My OH won't let me walk to the car without holding onto me like an old lady as I am really clumsy and he is terrified I will go over in the snow!
Have had a busy morning getting the house ready for the baby, now I'm rewarding myself with a cup of tea and a tin of celebrations!
My one and only antenatal class tonight has been cancelled, I'm glad I've had this forum and the netmums book as I think I know mostly what I am letting myself in for.
Hello to the newbies! If you are looking for a good book to help you through pregnancy I really rate this one. It has been really helpful and not patronising or too technical for me.
Definitely able to eat more now the baby has engaged, I had two courses for tea yesterday and ate both of them and then had an icecream when I got home- haven't been able to eat so much in ages!
Our night out was lovely last night, we went to pizza express and the whole meal and a drink each worked out at £15 in total so was really chuffed with that. Didn't make it to the film tho, will go in a few weeks once the baby is here.
Hope everyone else is OK xxBoots: £107.xx on AC :j
Tesco CC: £48.00/ £192 in deals:p

Thanks for the advice all...
Upon reflection, I think I freaked myself out too much, after having mmc in 2008. Babys been kicking and no other ills since since. I think I ate something dodgy, because I did feel a lot better after being sick.
And no other bleeding etc so i think we're ok, I don't help myself sometimes because I fixate, and end up going to worst possible scenario when as DH pointed out to me, because I also did (sorry again TMI) number 2 on the loo, perhaps I strained and that was the blood and it got mixed with my abundant supply of cm..... see how good my hubby is to me LOL
TBH about DH's family, I dont really care about them, i fact I'd go as far as to say I dont really like them, but they expect to stay here in may on their way to scotland for a wedding, and im really tempted to ask dh for them to find a hotel, since its gonna be 2 weeks before due date..... at least i can feign tiredness to get away from them LOL
Went out with dh for a walk, got a sausage roll from greggs (naughty I know( I was all excited and then it was cold.... so that ruined it for me LOL
Went browsing for some bits to help scrap book and i think I'm pretty much decided, but gonna go back to art shop when dh isnt trailing along like a bored child.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
