  • Stef I really hope the news is good, either way your in my thoughts & sending you a big hug ( I had an early miscarriage in October so I know how you feel, on the up side I was pregnant again by November and after having a scan at 7+1 everything looks positive, so it can turn out good in the end, I consoled myself with the fact that maybe the baby wasn't healthy and it was natures way )

    Wishing you all the best

    Hi Ladies,

Keeping everything crossed for you Steph!

I have just got back to work after a manic but lovely 2 weeks off, not thrilled to be back at work, and don't have time to catch up on the last two weeks on here, so i hope everyone is ok, labour vibes to jha, and you pp.

I have got my 12 wk scan on thursday, so am very very excited about that, then just have to work out what to do about telling work!??

Anyway, i have to get back to work. I will let you all know about the scan :)

Got married on the 26th April 08!!!!!!!:j:T

Bumpy Bean was due 20th Nov 2010, born 15th Nov :j:j:T
  • Okay rang the maternity unit........I have another appointment on the 14th Jan:T

I told M/W that i had been in pain from 7pm to 4am this am....she asked was I concerned for baby to which I replied no....its givin me a massive kick so its okay.....she said as I have had 4 kids before she is happy to let me ring them if there are any probs!

Thing is and I know i have had 4 kids.......and last night was pretty bad, but how the heck do I judge it? I know about timing, and I have a pretty high pain threshold, but what If I wait too long? will I deliver my baby in the car....im worried now:(

Cleaning is all I have done since I got up......normal cleaning not something weird like i did with the rest ie cleaning guttering....windows at 5am....underneath the stairs ect, just done the laundry and my wardrobe, kids have done kitty litter and sunroom....although it could do with being hoovered!! sigh....a womans work and all that:)
    Baby no 5 due 10th Feb 2010

yes thanks tiamai i just gotta go for anomaly at 19 weeks which is not until 1st march:eek::eek: that seems a lifetime away, i have to go to blood clinic 8th feb for downs screening then i dont see midwife until 24 weeks
is this standard i cant remember from my other 2 ???

Your kind of left to your own devices now especially if you have already had one.
    From what I remember..

    Booking appointment
    dating scan
    bloods at 16 weeks
20 week (or so) anomaly scan

After that I was fortnightly scans and bloods cos I wasn't good at being pregnant, but pretty much till 24 weeks your ignored.
