Wow 19 newborn sleepsuits Kindof?! Did you buy them all? We have about 20 0-3 months I think, which we figured was enough for 2 a day and then a few extra, based on carrying on doing the washing once a week, not sure if it'll work like that though!

PP nothing like a reality check is there :rotfl: OHs dad rang last night and was like 'imagine, you could be a mum next month', I had a total oh my god moment!

I think we have about 20 each of newborn and 0-3 sleepsuits, half new and half from ebay bundles!

I did the same thing except mine was "OH MY GOD, I MIGHT HAVE A BABY BY THE END OF THIS MONTH!!!!!"

Stef sorry to hear about your bleeding. Really hope everything is ok and you can get seen sooner than Thursday as I know the waiting is awful.

Well I just remembered about my RLT for today! Just sat with a cup now waiting for it to cool to drink. I've been on 1 cup per day for about 2 weeks. I'm 34 weeks on Tuesday so may go to 3 cups over 2 days for a week beforfe increasing to 2 a day.

Aless 9 minutes second stage is fab! Hope I can go the same way. Do you mind if I ask if you tore though?

I also have calcium, arnica and EPO all waiting to be started!!

I made rocky road bars and chocolate, banana and hazelnut muffins today. The muffins were so good. Had to stop myself eating more than 1 though as I was really full after tea and know it would have triggered some nasty reflux.

More for me for tomorrow though!!

Oh, Kindof, I meant to say the ther day but totally forgot, I will be keeping all the baby clothes for our second baby. I don't think there's anything at all wrong with it, very MSE and the baby won't know any different!!!

Tia, thanks for popping on with your advice. I remember you were at about my stage now when I first joined the thread!

Lol Kindof theirs nothing wrong with hand me down baby stuff, they go threw the stuff so fast no one even notices, some of my stuff have been on DD and DS and dozens of baby dolls over the years, i just washed and ironed them and next to the new stuff you can't tell the difference.

I keep forgetting to get RLT got the EPO Arnica and calcium along with Iron from the hospital.
Tia thats a good list some good points to check on it too, i asked most of those questions like formula and cotton wool and the MW thought i was mad she thought it was available everywhere till i told her to check it out as it was not the case everywhere, lol

ETA - Poor OH has had to take the dogs out again big fella has a loose tummy and all hell is breaking loose in the streets as the pubs have shut and it was the old firm match today, i've told him to stick within sight of all the police cars so he doesn't get the kn@b end that insists on trying to clap the dogs---That turns into dog ripping sleeves and trying to eat fingers lol Honestly he hates people but when he is with us he's such a love, i can tickle the back of his throat and he gives me a kiss, OK he has tried to eat OH but only cos he was wrestling with DS or behaving like a @@@@.

Here are my hospital bag recommendations in case it helps anyone (although everyone is different!!):

    Labour Bag:
    Pregnancy notes
Old Nightdress for giving birth in (I told midwife to cut it off me and bin it)
Sports bra or something for birthing pool if it's a possibility (bikini tops did not fit me at 9 months)
    Bedsocks
    Bottles of water
    Snacks/juice cartons for OH
    Lip balm
Facecloths/Flannels (OH mopped my brow lots apparently to cool me down)
    Hairbands
Camera (to take photos of baby, not you)
    Change of t-shirt for OH

    Baby Bag:
5 Sleepsuits (various sizes – some of the newborn stuff was already too small for my 8lb 7oz baby)
5 Vests/Bodysuits (various sizes as above)
Nappies (although my hospital provided them whilst we were there so not needed)
Cotton wool (again provided by hospital so did not use)
Scratch Mitts (if sleepsuits don’t have turnover ones which are much better!)
Going home clothes (shawl/blanket/pramsuit/hat – depending on weather)

    Post Labour Bag:
Comfortable clothes (jogging bottoms/loose t-shirts etc)
Couple of nightdresses (probably better than PJs after giving birth!)
Lightweight dressing gown (although due to ridiculous heat in hospital I never used it)
Underwear (inc nursing bra if intending to breastfeed)
Maternity pads (again my hospital provided some but I also used my own)
Towels (hospital provided towels, so I would check as they took up room in my bag unnecessarily)
    Slippers
    Toiletries
    Hairbrush

I was in hospital for 3 nights/4 days which was longer than I expected and was short of clothes and nightdresses. I had 2 with me but it was soooo hot in the hospital that I was sweating a lot! Make sure OH’s know where you have spare clothes/night clothes or how to work the washing machine if you don’t have any more at home.

I took an ipod and stuff to read, but to be honest, I never found time as I went to hospital as late as possible so was too busy labouring to read, and after the birth, I was either cradling a baby or OH was there so talking to him.

Labour vibes to JHA - hope everything is going ok for you!!
Three - I can't believe you are due this month!! I remember you joining and not knowing how far along you were - doesn't seem very long ago.

On the subject of hospital bags, I have 2 packets of maternity briefs (size 16-18 I think) which I never bothered using if anyone would like them. To be honest, I don't think you need them if you have some old big comfy pants, but PM me if you think you could use them.
